If you love Walkers shortbread, you’ll love this massive tin. It’s great value, especially around the holidays when you want plenty to share, and the kids absolutely devour them. Classic buttery flavor and great texture just like you expect. Really happy with this and would buy it again!

Crunchy, buttery, (sweet but not too sweet,) classic shortbread. Hard to find this large tin during spring and summer. So good, not just for holidays or company. The Kirkland packaging is identical to the branded Walkers tin.

I usually am forced to wait till holidays to get these cookies at a big box store (S$#MS)... this year available only thru mail order.... Amazon to the rescue!... I got over 4 POUNDS of these amazing cookies...delivered right to my door. Tin looks perfect (gosh, it is BIG)... think I'm all set till next year!

I have ordered these last year and twice this year. Many of the round cookies are always broken; the others are not. The finger cookies have far more sugar than the other two variety of cookies. The round cookies are far more broken and I am unsure as to why. A few of the triangle cookies have cracked; none the less they are very tasty. One review wrote that the taste with Kirkland is different than the ones direct from Scotland and this is true. The finger cookies are the most changed; and the Kirkland brand is better and far more sugar is involved! These are not broken, on the several times I've ordered them thru this site. I will continue to order these cookies; I'm afraid I am too greedy as the last bunch I ordered I gave at least half a way; due to my weight gain of eating the last entire batch of Kirkland shortbread cookies from Walkers! I will probably order them again at Christmas and eat some and give the rest away. Hopefully I will loose the ten pounds I've gained since ordering the last batch! They are so good and my will power is low. I'm laughing; I've no history of diabetes and had lost a great deal of weight last year, actually was quite thin. So I need to lose ten to 12 pounds so I can get into my small clothes again and will do so by NOT ordering again until Christmas and I will give many away. They will make great Christmas present to friends, colleagues.

UPDATE 11-11-25 : i have been getting these in various metal box sizes or cardboard boxes for more than a decade and I am sure these are the very best yet ; flavor is extraordinarily great , mouth feel / crunch seems lighter / less dense JUST PERFECT ! Only a couple were broken . All the rest arrived in great shape . I'm very pleased . Old original review : This is the second Thanksgiving/Christmas holiday season I have ordered these. Came quick, good price, taste is excellent and very fresh. The metal box arrived in perfect shape. One thing to look for is the shape of the cookies changed from last year or from one box size to the other; I don't know which. Last year I ordered the next smaller box and the cookie shapes were fancier. In this larger box two of the four "varieties" of cookie are just plain discs. One of them has a touch more crispness and more sugar according to the literature but it is very subtle. On the smaller box the illustrations on the side are of snowy scenes by the way. I would order these again.

This is a huge tin of cookies and I think it is a really good price for what you get. Inside you get 12 individually wrapped packages of cookies, so I think they will stay fresh for a long time. I was a little disappointed by the appearance of the cookies, however. They are not as pretty or detailed as the last, smaller box of cookies that I had. That box had four different shapes; triangle, oval, round and fingers. They all had nice holes poked in them and except for the fingers, scroll type edges, very attractive. This box contained the triangles, round and fingers. Probably as many round ones as the other 2 shapes combined. Also about half of the fingers appear to maybe be square, having not been cut in half. That makes for a pretty large cookie and harder to ration if you only want to eat one.. I prefer them smaller. I also like to dunk them in my coffee if I am eating them in the morning and they would be too big to dunk. The triangles are very similar in appearance to the ones in the other box. The round ones are just plain round cookies, no holes and no scrolls. The fingers have the fork holes, but just not as pretty as the ones from the other box. Also, a fair amount of the round ones arrived broken in half. Of course that doesn't affect their taste and they are delicious, just like my first box-- light, delicate, buttery and fresh. In retrospect, I got exactly what was pictured on the tin, but since they aren't as pretty as the other Walker's shortbread cookies that I had and half of the fingers are really squares, I am only giving this 4 stars.

Come on Kirkland! I read the reviews & many people were unhappy with the condition of their broken box of cookies since 2024. I got a can of cookies in Dec 2024 and they had minimal amount of broken cookies. So, I recently reordered thinking my cookies would arrive perfectly in my beautiful can…….wrong! I think there were 3 sets of cookies ( round, triangle & rectangles) for 12. The round & triangles were all broken to some degree. The rectangle cookies fared the best. Kirkland, get your baking/ marketing/ sales/ shipping/ pricing teams together and get this problem figured out. We are tolerating this because the breakage does not hinder the taste but you cannot offer your guest a shortbread cookie looking like this. You need to give every person that informed you of this issue a credit and thank them for being a loyal customer. We love your product, we want to support you & your company !
