Light weight but good quality
As expected, the wood is light weight but sturdy. They were easy to install using the metal brackets. You need two people to ensure everything is straight/level. I love the colour, no need to stain it. I have had them for a few months now and dust doesn't seem to accumulate that quickly on these shelves. They are perfect for my home office. Thank you.

Quality shelves
Needed one 48 in wide shelf for displaying the new LEGO Orient Express train. Decided to go ahead and purchase this threesome product. Brackets are 1/4 inch steel and heavy. Wood shelves received wrapped and without imperfections, but are lighter color than burnt description. Decided to purchase better quality brass screws for wall stud installation, which went well. I thought the instructions were good, but not needed. Train looks great on the shelf. Glad to have purchased the product and plan to install the remaining shelved later.

Loving these shelves
I wanted something different than my cheap Ikea shelves but I also didn't want to break the bank, so I thought I would give these a try and it turns out, I love them. First, the item photos represent the actual product well. They are quite nice looking, almost look like much more expensive zebrawood. They are surprisingly light in weight but do not bend at all. I almost thought they were hollow but I ended up cutting some down to a different size and they are indeed solid wood. Measurements are very accurate; they are all exactly 48" long, 10" in depth, 1" thick. Mounting brackets are solid and painted nicely, they do not look cheap. The only criticisms would be that first, there were a few small dings from the shipping process. Nothing terrible however. The second knock would be that the plastic wall anchors were literally falling into pieces even before I took them out of the bag. They were cracked and crumbled. This didn't affect me at all because I mounted the wall mounts directly into studs using the included screws and this is plenty sturdy.

These floating shelves are a perfect addition to the limited space we have. They are so bulky that they get in the way like bookshelves. The wood is solid and heavy. They are a great way for us to decorate our wall and display our pictures and the like.
