I came across this leather journal after much searching and I just loved it.... but I nearly didn't purchase it because of another review !.... I am so, so glad I did because it is beautiful. It is not far off that pictured in the listing and after seeing a couple of others that were not, I was so pleased I decided to take a chance. There were some comments made on another review about marks on the paper etc... and yes there are small blemishes, but it's recycled cotton and just adds to the overall beauty of what this product is... it's supposed to be like this ! The Buffalo hide is thick and just... well soft and stunning. The cutting of the leather which was also criticised in another review, is just perfect, in places it is cut on an angle giving almost a torn effect with an uneven edge, again this is the whole idea of what it is meant to look like, not a neat office portfolio. If you want a beautiful, high quality journal that is rustic, ethnic and just looks and feels wonderful, then you will not go wrong with this. I love fair trade items and the fact that this has been hand made in conditions that are far less favourable than mine, makes me appreciate just how lovely this item is.

It is everything I expected and wanted.• Packaging was faultless• The leather smells, looks and feels great.• The pages are distressed in a great way.• The page binding is secure.• The A4 size is perfect.• The biro pen and pencil write on the paper with ease.This is the perfect book to write my recipes and enjoy for years.All in all a great book that you won’t find in the shops.I fully recommend it.

Excellent it is just as described - using it as s travel journal and it fits the bill perfectly.

Ordered this item and was very dissatisfied all round, the paper inside was mostly water damaged or marked, the cover did not look at all as described, the edges were blunt cut, not the lovely edge style as shown on the pictures. The paper that wasn’t damaged was very thin and see through. Will be returning this. On the upside the leather itself is lovely, shame about the rest of the book.

Es una belleza de libro. Lo compramos para que nuestros amigos nos dejarán un mensaje en nuestra boda y fue ideal. El pelo es resistente y bonito, pero lo mejor es el recubrimiento en piel 😊

Per chi ama i quaderni con la copertina in pelle come me, è una sensazione meravigliosa tenere tra le mani un oggetto come questo. Dimensioni A4, morbido, con un pervadente odore di cuoio, con le pagine rilegate delicatamente e la carta spessa non comune. Un bellissimo oggetto, quasi un dispiacere usarlo! Attenzione a quello che ci scrivete perché è talmente bello che dovete trovare parole speciali per riempirlo!

Un superbe cahier à l'ancienne, façon grimoire de magie.Un très bel objet dans lequel vous pouvez laisser et écrire vos pensées et vos idées, journal intime ou autre.Les pages sont en papier recyclé de bonne qualité, épaisses et de couleur ivoire.La couverture en cuir souple enveloppe les pages et est terminée par un long cordon de cuir à enrouler tout autour du livre.Encore une fois, un bel objet tout droit sorti d'un livre de Harry Potter, chic et utile.J'adore.

Sehr sehr schönes Lederbuch. Man kann alles damit machen, vomTagebuch bis Fotoalbum.Das Buch ist sehr schön und hochwertig verarbeitet. Riecht angenehm nach Leder, "stinkt" aber nicht. Ca. DIN A4 groß, jedoch etwas schmäler als das normale Maß.Das Papier ist nicht reinweiß, sondern etwas abgetönt, was das Buch noch edler aussehen lässt. Man kann auch gut drauf schreiben!Wenn man, wie ich, etwas besonderes kaufen will, dann ist man von diesem Buch absolut begeistert!*****

Sehr gut verarbeitetes Buch in Ledereinbund in der Größe DIN A4! Hab lang nach einem solchen Buch gesucht, mit diesem Buch bin ich endlich fündig geworden und kann dieses Buch nur sehr empfehlen!
