Completely useless unless you are an IT specialist.
Completely useless. Although the cable looks good, the included software ( plenty of zip files) is usable only for IT people. There is no setup exe to find. There is no support, no description, booklet, readme file or whatever to find. From what I found, it seems the software is designed for older windows versions and seems to work on DOS. Changing my system from USB to COM ports? No thanks. I binned it and bought a different one.

Works!! just be aware of the application setup
The product works flawlessly, the problems other buyers have reported must be software related, the installation and correct running of the INPA or DIS application is quite complex and not always runs first time. I would recommend anyone buying this if all they need is the cable and the software is already configured, you will not find it cheaper anywhere else, thanks

Mine doesn't seem to work... Software on a ripped CD doesn't inspire much confidence either.
Not sure what's up with it, but I can't connect to anything with it at the moment. Bought another cable from eBay and it worked out of the box. Will try and get this one going, but might have to return it. Software comes on a dodgy looking ripped CD, which 90% of modern laptops can't use due to the lack of the drive! Should have offered a download link or usb stick like other companies seem to.
