I have to have sun protection because of the medicine I take, and I'll have to say "this hat protects"! It is very wide, covers your face and neck even without the included face and neck cloths! It has adjustments to fit any head size, and the quality is pretty good for the price Love it!

Great hat piece but the face piece is a bit snug and short. If you have thick hair or need to put your hair up, there may not be room for your head. Small-medium sized heads should be fine. The brim is a good size so the coverage is nice.
