Excellent Handle
Used this on round and flat files for chainsaw chains. Fits the files well and gives a good comfortable grip. They get used a couple of times per month and seem sturdy and robust enough for this duty.

superb handle
After reading some reviews about the handle splitting i was baffled as to why anyone would try and hit their file or handle!!Doesn't everyone heat the file with a blowtorch and simply push it in gently and it 'burns' its way in and is solid?This is a superb handle and perfect for my chainsaw file

partial delivery
The handle is fine, no problem whatsoever with its quality. BUT i had to order 3, but only 1 turned up.They were packed in an open ended box and 2 must have fallen out.I dont want to return it, i just want the other 2 delivered in a more suitable package.This is not the fault of the driver, the package was in perfect condition

The handle handles well when handling
Really nice wooden finish. Sturdy when filing and ergonomically shaped. Don't have access to a blowtorch so I did tap needle file in gradually, no signs of splitting!

It's a handle
Was purchased to go with the chainsaw files I bought. As others have said handle does tend to come away from files, having said that chainsaws are sharpened in one direction only so for me wasn't much of a problem.

Crooked file handle
Nicely turned wooden handle but the hole for the file has been drilled at a crooked angle. It doesn't line up with the axis of the handle :(

Does the job
Handle for round file. I bought it for the files I use on my chainsaw. Much easier to hold on to the file with a good handle on it.

Hole is too large
Predrilled hole is too large f'or a Stihl 1/4 chain. Nice handle. I'll keep it for another file. Description should say the hole size. About 1/8"
