Each shaker in the 3 pack set is in powder form ground fresh from whole chiles. Each shaker is ground from a separate chile, one from Ancho chiles, one from Guajillo chiles and one from Arbol chiles. Thank you for your question.

Per the label, they are just ground chilies, no other seasoning or ingredients. BTW, tey are excellent for all sorts of Mexican dn Latin American cooking. Recommended

I’m making the pozole rojo found in your recipe book. Since the recipe calls for 3 ancho chilies and 3 guajillo, how much of the powder should I use?

I suggest you preferably get dried ancho and guajillo chiles or fresh ones if available where you live. To equal 3 of each would be a tremendous amount of powder. How many does this recipe feed? With fresh ones a tablespoon of the powders should be ample.Good luck!
