Great origami set!
This is a brilliant set for kids, the instructions are really clear & easy to follow and the animals are graded from easy to advanced. My 8 & 10 year old girls absolutely love it & I will buy again for future gifts.

Good value
Very good activity for a 6 and 8 year old. Great as a travel set, better than I expected for the price

Our son loved this
We bought this for my son to entertain him when we went on holiday and he loved making them and was very proud of what he created. It doesn't make too much mess so could work in many places. Recommended!

Good range for different abilities.
Really good. My 9 and 7 year old could do this. The difficulty ones at the back we're done by mum, so everyone had fun!

Too formulaic for this old school origami fan
I was very into origami as a kid and still have a soft spot for it now, but this set just didn't quite do it for me. There's a pretty good supply of printed papers and nice variations where you get the same pattern but with a different colour scheme, but the designs just seemed overly simplistic and not particularly satisfying. It's really nicely packaged in a velcro-sealing box so perfect for travel and to be fair, I suspect it will appeal to plenty of children. But for me, it's just too formulaic. The papers are printed with animal patterns so can't really be used for much else than what they are intended, there are stickers to simulate faces. I'm undoubtedly showing my age here but children's toys seem so much less creative than when I was young, in the same way certain building bricks have only one specific model they work with rather than a few basic shapes. It seems like toy manufacturers do so much of the work for the kids now that these kits might as well tumble out of the box as readymade items! If I wanted to get a child interested in origami, I'd much prefer to put together a pack of beautifully patterned and plain coloured papers, a decent book on the subject, and - if one must insist on faces and other details - a pack of pens. Surely that's a much better way to stimulate the imagination!

Enjoyable little kit for a 6 year old.
Overall these were good value for money, there were a number of different designs and creatures to make. Kept my 6 year old busy. I deducted one start as some of the instructions and not that clear. Overall good though.
