No good doesn’t work
I’m sorry to say this did not work at all discs still scratched couldn’t squeeze the plastic bottle as too hard so made it difficult to get the paste out not good at all

Worked well for me.
Instructions could be better. I used it on a disc of pictures from 2007. My computer couldn't show pics due to condition of disc. After using the product I was able to retrieve all my pictures but one. I would say that the product worked incredibly well for me.

Beware the little piece of plastic scratches the DVD
I have had similar products before but the instructions appeared easy however luckily I tried it on an old DVD because it scratched it more than what I was trying to remove
