Hawaiian Lei Making

I live in the Keys in Florida and have access to many tropical and sub-tropical flowers. I bought this book to make leis for special occasions and found it easy to follow. I've made 3 different leis. One with bougainvillea with bright colors that turned out fabulous and dried to last for months. One with Stephanotis that was stunning and another one with Umbrella Tree fruits. People are impressed with the results and it actually is very easy. The bougainvillea lei took 2 hours to make and it was presented to the newly installed President of the local Garden Club. The book opened up many possibilities to be creative. I'm very happy I bought it when I was in Hawaii, and would recommend it highly.

Book gives some wonderful tutorials on how to make beautiful Hawaiian leis. I bought the book used, but looked almost brand new when I received it.

Nice book

The book is really helpful! The picture sequences are of great help. I wish there was a chapter about how to end your lei, but that's missing from this book. However this was a great purchase.

You need to have access to many of the exotic flowers in book.

Great book for the price!

Good pictures of "how to". Ideas were beyond expectation. It opens up your creative eye for different ways and mediums for leis.

リボンレイに最近始めてまして、すっかりはまりました。ハワイアンキルトを3年くらい前からやっているのでハワイの花の本とかたくさんもっていますが、リボンレイのもとになる生のレイを見れることができてこんな風にリボンレイになってく過程がすごく良くわかりました。とってもいい本です。英語が読めないですが画像がとってもわかりやすくってリボンレイをつくるのに参考になる本になりました。ありがとうございました。
