The plastic keeps rolling up. I put a rug under it and that did not help. I turned over, flattened and put things on corners. It was good the next day but continues to roll up. Very frustrating. Would not recommend.

Needed this mat for an office chair on a hardwood floor. Initially, it was very difficult to straighten out to lay flat under the chair but after weighing corners down with heavy books overnight it flattened out fine. It protects the floor well and is fairly unobtrusive.

On rainy or cold or hot days, actually, several days a week these days, our dog will not go outside. We have had puppy pads since her birth seven years ago. This keeps the floor nice under the puppy pads. She doesn't usually go through the pads, but sometimes she goes too close to the edge and it leaks out onto the mat. Without a mat, it would leak on to the floor and go between the boards and the underflooring would be damaged. I used the same one for my office chair before I got a laptop. It keeps the floor protected no matter what you use it for. It's very strong, too. No matter how heavy your chair combined with you might be, this can handle it.

Nice but it rolls up to much. You have to straighten it out to much.

Covers decent amount of area for my needs and does not slip and slide on my hardwood floors!
