I have the other style also that does not have the bumps and I love it so I thought I would try this. This is def more of a hard shiatsu type of treatment; and hurts at first (at least for me); but the more I surrendered into the sensation; and the more I relaxed; it became less painful. I can say tho that when I am done using it my neck does feel different; in a good way. So I would NOT say this is relaxing at first; but I do think it does what it is supposed to do which is to put pressure onto the tight spots in the back of the neck (like shiatsu/pressure point therapy) so for that I would say it is very good for that. I have since used it a few more times and I am beginning to actually enjoy it. I definitely love this and feel like it is helping release tension in my neck. If you flip it around and put the highest/widest part of it under your neck instead (with the largest nubs closest to your neck), this is a way to ease into this device. My daughter used this when her occipital neuralgia was flaring up and it worked like magic. She could not believe the level of relief she got from this. Definitely worth getting.

The material is durable. It’s flexible but a little uncomfortable and after a while it starts to make your neck sore and it comes with no instructions literally just the item in a box so it’s just OKAY

This kinda works but the nodes also hurt alot. You have to get it in exactly the right place to actually stretch your neck. And at the same time the nodes are really hard on your lower neck and back while doing it. So it's hard to relax into the stretch.

Pretty good for releasing neck/back pressure. Very relaxing.

I was pretty excited for this, but it was sooo uncomfortable and I returned it.

I couldn't wait to get this product. I saw it on Instagram and searched for it on amazon. Immediately upon usage I felt the relief and heard the crack I was looking for. It recommends to use daily for 10 minutes at least 10 days for optimal relief but I got instant relief. Hurry and get you one if you are a side sleeper with neck and shoulder tension, it works!

This is super helpful for tension. I also like that it comes in different colors so it doesn't clash with my decor. Everyone in my house uses it and loves it. It's easy to clean and store. There isn't much of a learning curve, it's very easy to use. It's also easy to clean and seems sturdy.

So first of all..it’s supposed to not feel comfortable!! That means that your spine is out of line. Like when you go to a massage therapist it does hurt a bit but the goal is to use it enough when it doesn’t hurt anymore(spine alignment). I have struggled with major back issues for about 6 years now and see ciropractors and it’s been helpful but nothing seems to fix my neck/shoulder area. I do have a bump that was caused by bad posture and doing hair for 15 years hunched over. I love this product because it is exactly what I need to re adjust. I use it after I do yoga or workout to meditate and just relax. The key is being consistent with it.It’s an excellent tool for anyone with spinal pain(always talk to your doctor first) or if you are the type of person who carries all their stress in their neck and shoulders(like me)Very very happy with itNo complaints
