These socks reached to the middle of my knees and were hurting me, as I have osteoarthritis in my knees. So I pushed them down so they would be below my knees. They then made a deep indentation in my legs and by the end of the one day that I wore them, I was in pain. In addition, they did not prevent my legs or ankles from swelling. These were a disappointment to me.Update — I found that after I washed them they didn't come up quite so high. I have been wearing them with one other brand. I find the Jobst compression sock is the best brand out there for me. I have short legs and they are all high on me, but am happy that this one has become somewhat shorter with washing. I am hoping it will get shorter still. I am purchasing two more pair of these.

I am plus sized. My ankles do not swell but I have some neuropathy in my legs and feet, so slight pressure socks help. I wear Jobst Sensifoot most of the year but in summer or with lighter shoes I needed something like this. I have 11 different kinds in my drawer, all roll down or cut off circulation in my toes. These are perfect. Room in the toe area, no roll down. I wear a size 8.5-9W shoe and I wear a Large in these stockings/light socks.

Love these gentle and very soft compression socks. Although the fabric is a bit thick, it is light-weight and I find the socks comfortable in the hottest weather. One caveat - be sure your toe nails are smooth as rough edges catch on internal elastic fibers and the sock's life is thereby terminated or shortened.

I love these socks. They are by far the best compression socks I've found so far. The band at the top of the sock isn't too tight. The fabric doesn't catch on my scrubs making it look like I'm wearing high waters. The only reason I can't give them 5 stars is that seam sits RIGHT IN FRONT of my toes. No amount of pulling or readjusting will keep it on top of my toes. It does, however, sometimes slide beneath my toes while I'm working, causing discomfort if I can't find time to fix it.

Gave to my daughter for Christmas as it was on her wish list. She loved them and said they will come in handy while she wears them at work where she is on her feet most of the time.

I wear these when taking long car rides or flying. Easy to put on and works great
