Let me get right to the point, these are soooo mch better than the original string spool that came with my black and decker string trimmer. Frist of all the original string continually broke,but not this stuff! It is the same size but double the strengh ! No unusual breakage at all.Secondly, this is sooo much cheaper to purchace. I will buy this string from this seller for the life of my trimmer !

This is very useful. My yard requires a lot of trimmer use. These should last me a while. My only complaint is that some of them do not automatically extend the string the way they’re supposed to do. I have to turn off the trimmer and yank the string out myself. An inconvenience but it wouldn’t stop me from buying again.

Do not purchase this string!!! I have owned this model of B&D trimmer for 4 1/2 years now and have purchased dozens upon dozens of replacement spools that weren't B&D manufacturer made and they all worked fine and saved me $. However, this was the first time I purchased this brand as previous seller I used was out of stock and they are crap. 3 spools all came unwound as soon as I started trimming. One of those 3 came unwound and tangled w/ the spring on the trimmer cap and bent it. Luckily this is the 2nd one of these B&D trimmers I've owned and I still had the old trimmer that doesn't run in my shed so I was able to use the old cap on the newer trimmer. I'm on the 5th spool which has worked so far. So, at least 3 of the 6 in the pack I got no use out of and one of the bad ones broke my cap. There are plenty of other replacement brands on Amazon, I strongly suggest you buy one of those instead of these!!!

I found this to be more than enough for my weed eating needs. I know some of the reviews say that it doesn't last as long as the OEM but I believe it really depends on what you are weed eating. It seems not to last as long when I'm cutting wet grass.

Great value for a refill compared to stores. Super easy to install. Keep it off of the concrete (sidewalk and curb) and fencing and it'll last quite a while.

Compared to the price of same/similar product from Black & Decker, these spools are a great buy. I find them equal to the name brand as far as ease of use and durability. I can trim & edge my yard 2 to 3 times on one spool, with very few incidents of line entanglement or not feeding the line correctly. These 6b spools will probably last me the entire summer & spring and in Louisiana we have a loooonng grass growing period.

Prefer these to the B & D brand.They are out lasting B & Ds cost less and do the same job.

Well these spools work for my weadeater as advertised, however I was out of line in 20mins with only half the yard done. It also wasn’t wound very well and got caught on its self after the first 10mins. Although I was using it around pavement, I would expect a spool to last atleast 60mins or atleast 2-3 uses. Expectations. Maybe it’s just me, but next time I’m going to buy the name brand version.
