Had a lot of fun! Couldn’t stop playing!

This is such a fantastic, whimsical game! When I first opened the box, I was amazed at the artistry and design of all the fun hamsters! Every hamster is described with an adjective beginning with the letter H, which makes it so much more fun to play and easier to remember what cards there are. After reading through the instructions, my wife, my parents and I dived in and played for about 4 hours straight. The first round was honestly a little confusing (as it would be with any new game), but the game comes with a handy card you keep next to you of what options the player has each turn. The objective is to collect 9 clan hamsters (9 of the same color) or 16 horde hamsters (16 total). It is a great balance of strategy and luck as well as complexity, but not complicated.The best part is the game could be going terribly for you, but there are chances and cards throughout to rebuild your horde and get back on top!It's a great game for kids and a highly addictive game for adults.Definitely my new favorite, go-to game. I can't wait for the expansion packs!

My husband and I love games and this one looked fun, so we tried it (hoping it wouldn't be as potentially inappropriate as the name suggests). We absolutely love it! Played it once and immediately ordered the chaos expansion. We love that it's super fun just the two of us, but can also be played with a group (with the expansion it can go up to 8!!). Very easy to learn and very family friendly. Would definitely recommend

There were five of us that played. Ages 11, 15, 43, 45, 46. Every single one of us had a great time playing and laughing. It did take some time to get it all down, but it was fine to learn. We played and would figure out something new a few times. There is definitely variety to keep everyone interested. It did take us a bit of time to play. We actually stopped as we had to start working on dinner. The hurricane cards are traumatic if you’re in the lead 😱. We were hit with those a few times. Definitely keeps things interesting. Great game for all!

This is one of those games that is pretty simple to explain and play. It does indeed pack a punch though! I am a teacher and decided to bring this game in for my High School Students on a day after a major exam. I was able to recruit a group and played this with them.They loved it as did I! The battles had us on the edges of our seats and we laughed till it hurt! The game's footprint is very small: It's a card game with some dice. But it is superfun to play. Serious gamers have sticks up their butts and would probably look down on this. It's not a brain twister and it does have an element of chance. But I like variety in my games and this will not disappoint if you feel like sitting down for an evening of fun with some casual players. It is accessable to all. I am looking forward to playing this again in the near future.

As we play more games right now, we needed something new. I had found this as a possible Christmas gift for my 10yr old (who does not really like board/card games), but just left in cart for later. Well my dear reader, later has come. Ordered this a week ago and over 50 games have been played. Two people is good, 3 people is better, 4 people is fun too. No two games are the same. Chaos card, special cards, attack hamsters.... plenty of variety. It is pretty easy to learn, and always fun to play.

Think hamsters are cute? Love your disgusting little “pet” who exists solely to gnaw holes in things and create droppings for you to clean up? Then you will like this game. Think of hamsters as mobile cat food? Wonder why anyone would willingly bring destructive rodents into their house and pay for the privilege? Then you will like this game.Gyrating Hamsters is a fun card game for all ages. It doesn’t take long to learn, can be played by up to 5 people, and even 6-year-olds can whup adults at this game- earning appropriate bragging rights. Five color clans of hamster (red, green, purple, orange and blue), attack hamsters like Houdini and Harriet, and cute artwork which stops no one from clobbering opposing hamsters!Highly recommend this game for kids and everyone!

If my parents can learn this, there is hope for everyone.A short and enjoyable game with some twists. The only minor frustration is that you can go from winning to losing in heartbeat. So, if that kind of thing bothers you, this might not be for you.

Splendid game, family delved in and found it huge fun. Wholeheartedly recommended.
