Heavy duty
I was a little skeptical at first when I ordered it that it might not be able to handle a 75-pound Golden Retriever. I was pleasantly surprised when I received it. The clasps are big and beefy and the cable is nice and thick. I will have to wait and see how it holds up to wear and tear. It's still too early tell.

not as durable as I'd hoped
My dog was able to break this once it had started to rust a bit. The spring didn't really keep her from breaking it.

Breaks on 90 lbs dog
We didn't even have this for 2 months, and our dog snapped it like a twig. Our dog is about 90 lbs, and we've been looking everywhere to find a dog chain that is up to snuff. Unfortunately, this wasn't one of them.

My dog broke the clasp first week . Cable plastic cracks/splits very easy .
