Can barely be called bolt cutters as I don't think you'll be cutting through many bolts unless they're under about 3mm diameter. Very sturdy, they cut through a wire fence with ease, the mesh type you get around a garden. Still seem sharp after about 50 cuts. Handy to have in the tool box but more of a thick wire cutter really. Quality seems nice.

Nothing like the photo, they are very very small and I couldn’t even get the opening wide enough to cut a standard padlock on my shed. Waste of time, probably only good for wire or a small nail

Strong and compact - great for cutting through 2.5mm galvanized mesh sheeting, that I have been using. Handy locking mechanism to keep them closed. Great for slipping into pockets of tool belts or work trousers.

I should have checked the opening size of the jaws. I needed it to cut off a padlock. the jaw opened enough to cut through a coke ring or a very very thin chain.I didn't send it back because it would have cost me more in postage.so make sure you check the size before ordering. Thank bye

I HAD A CUSTOMER WHO WAS HIRING OUR RECORD BABY CROPPERS, AND ASKED IF WE COULD SUPPLY SOME. I FOUND THAT THEY ARE THREE TIMES THE PRICE OF THESE, AND SO HE TOOK THESE INSTEAD. HE SAYS HE HAS HAD NO PROBLEMS IN CUTTING THE FENCING WIRE SO FAR.
