works as advertised

Worked great in the garage. The first time across a parking lot, the wheels crossed a crack, the bracket jumped past the stop peg and the skis dropped to the ground. I needed a pry bar to un-jam the bracket, which is now tweaked!

We had great performance and survivability from the 1st generation ski wheels for thousands of miles so we bought another set for another snowmobile, (same model sleds). However the 3rd generation wheels have hardware falling off and jamming in the wrong position within 200 miles. Note we are running two snowmobiles simultaneously on the same trails and noting this poor performance in generation 3 design. It's not the use scenario, it's a poor design. Although the seller did provide replacement hardware, they would not give us a refund for the entire ski-wheel set.

Mine broke at the notch that is too thin and only pot metal not steel.

Have 2 stars because the poor quality of the mount. I had 2 mounts brake within 2 yrs. definitely a design flaw because were it broke the steel is notched to small. Seller sent a replacement one but I’m not satisfied with it braking twice on the trail. Spent over $350 for it to be used not hanging of my ski...

Ski doo mxz x 5.7pilot ski 2011

Simple install until I went to use them. Had to bend the handle in so it would align with the ski properly. Something this expensive should would better.
