Mindmade Debatable - A hilarious party game for people who love to argue

The gameplay is straightforward. There are different components to learn about, but they are all very simply to understand. I read the instructions once and barely touched it ever again. There are many different topics and debate strategies to pick from (though some may feel similar), and you can play with different friend groups, so the possibilities are endless. It is really fun if you go all out and be silly. And it's not easy to use the debate strategies but that's the fun! I like how different this game is from many other games out there. It is very portable — imagine a thick notebook, or a pocket bible (obviously it's more fun to carry this game though) — great to take on a trip.

We have so many games but this one is by far our favourite, and everyone we play it with ends up loving it too! It made us buy the other game by them which is good too, but this one's the OG 🔥

It's a fun game, maybe harder to learn for young children. There are lots of prompts so it is definitely a game you could play over and over, but I don't think it's worth the price.

Funny game

This game sounds good in theory but the topics of debate and rules didn't end up being particularly fun. We were expecting things that really split the room that would be interesting to debate but there wasn't much room for genuine entertainment. The timer went on for massively long. Since a moderator picks who debates what, there's no room for anyone to argue what they really think, and instead of being an intellectual exercise the cards' biases mean unless you're playing with people who are the exact opposite of you it gets tiresome quickly. This game does far better when you ignore a fair amount of the rules, otherwise it becomes a weirdly structured mix between too serious and too dumb- and unfortunately this game balances it terribly. Added two stars because I did manage to convince everyone to blame the parents for society's ills in a yoda voice, however I hated every second of it.

This is a very fun game - I think the structure is a bit rigid and it could be longer (the time limit for arguments is a minute) so that it could be a more real debate, but the questions are fantastic and you can always choose to take longer for the arguments if you so please, of course.

Good collection of questions. 4 stars as there are some cards that are marked as potential to be offensive - I think these types of questions should all be on the same cards so that if you want to remove them from the pack, you’re only removing the potentially offensive ones, otherwise I find that I’m removing loads of cards that could have been useful to have in the pack. I am a teacher and tutor and use these cards for persuasive writing/ speech.

Wer Social Games und Debatten liebt, ist bei diesem Spiel definitiv gut aufgehoben. Viel Spaß, viel Freude, viele Debatten und ausgesprochen herausfordernde Themen. Das Spiel kam mit einem Sticker versehen an, auf dem der Hersteller darauf hingewiesen hat, dass 4% der Spiele dieser Herstellungscharge mit einer falschen Sanduhr bestückt sind (30s statt 2 min). Man entschuldigt sich herzlich, falls man einer der Betroffenen sein sollte, und solle bitte einfach eine Mail an den Hersteller schreiben. Da genau das bei mir der Fall war, gesagt, getan: nach einer kurzen Mail und einer sehr freundlichen Antwort am nächsten Tag bekam ich eine 5€-Erstattung auf mein Amazon-Konto (wahlweise senden sie auch die passende Sanduhr), welche ich sofort in ein anderes Spiel des gleichen Herstellers reinvestiert habe (Everyone's an expert). Super freundlich, super lieb und definitiv maximal empfehlenswert!

If you or your friends suck at improv and hate theatrics, you will not enjoy this game... SUPER controversial subjects. This CAN be suitable for 12 year olds if parent and/or Mediator goes through and removes certain subjects. Absolute fun! Easy to learn. Lots of Variety. can play clean or just straight controversial. Literally it's great for people who love to argue (or debate).
