SOMMERLAND C0019 Outdoor Misting Stand Compatible with Misting System Garden Hose，Set of 2

We currently own three pairs of these and intend to get more.Living in near Tucson, AZ, we are always looking for something to keep our chickens cool during the summer and these really fit the bill. Trust me, I am not terribly handy with setting things up. Usually, I get frustrated and leave it for my hubby, but he was out of town working and it was getting hot. So, I measured out 5 foot lengths of irrigation hose and decided to give it a try.The misting stands are super easy to put together. After that, it is just a matter of pushing them into the ground, and hooking them together with irrigation hose. All six of these are spaced out along the run and work great! The mist so much better than a standard mister line. Since we have very hard water, I change out the mister heads every couple of months. Again very easy. Due to the high winds that come through here, I did use an 8 inch zip tie to hold each of these to the fencing. It probably wasn't necessary, but figured it couldn't hurt either.

One leaked. I used tefalon tape to fix. Works brilliantly.

The package came with two misting stands. One worked perfectly with no issues. In the second, the O-rings around the misting jets were thin and distorted and leaked, even when tightened. I had to purchase new O-rings that were thicker and more substantial. It would be helpful if the system came in 3 sections so that the overall height could be varied (shortened).

absolute garbage POS. Do not buy thinking you are good to go right out of the box. You have to put plumbers teflon tape on all the threads and seals. I like the idea but I bought four of these (2 in each box) and they were KRAPPOLA out of the box without spending time on fixing all the leaks. they do put out a fine mist otherwise as shown.build quality zero. Im only expecting these to last through this summer. easily broken off by children.

These are really well-built, all metal, except for a screw-on cap to cover a hose extension. Working out in the heat was much better with the cooling mist, nd withn the lawn spike, it was easy to move it as I moved the work area.

pretty decent to cool down on hot days. the only downside is that the slightest breeze affects the spray immensely, but im not sure how a nozzle could solve that while keeping the pressure low enough to shoot out a mist. if you have a way to use a fan in conjunction with these to direct the spray exactly where you want it, it would be perfect

I was disappointed that it leaked badly when attached to the hose. Flooded my chicken coop. Was considering returning it.

Love it, have been trying different misters to put near birdbath for over a year. Easy to set up, seems sturdy so far, blackbirds like it (hoping for hummingbirds).
