Excellent Product for a fabulous price
The coffee machine works overtime in our house and I have to say this has been the best out of all. Having spent on high ends brands, this has come out on top. Great size jug (slightly larger than most) super quick to brew coffee and keeps it warm far longer than our previous ones. Easy to clean. Slightly annoying loud bleep when it finishes, you won’t notice hear it, which is slightly odd! Happy not to use filters again. Highly recommend xxxx

Super easy to use, large capacity
We have had a few "one cup" fancy coffee makers that do cappuccino and similar things. They invariably sit mainly unused on the worktop. We fancied an American style coffee maker that fills an entire pot of coffee and keeps it warm for a good while. I really also wanted a white one to match our kitchen. This seemed to fit the bill and had good reviews. We have used it a lot since it arrived only yesterday! Good points: 1. SUPER easy to use. Clock is a doddle to set, easy to fill. You can use the filter basket as is, or purchase size 4 filter papers to use alongside it. Papers make the clean up easier as you just lift the old filet and coffee grounds out and pop a new filter in. 2. Makes nice hot coffee that stays at a good temp for about 2 hours. 3. Makes a really good capacity of coffee, filling it to the 12 cup mark gives about 10 cups of coffee (some is absorbed by the coffee grounds). 4. Looks nice, isn't too big and doesn't take up a lot of worktop space. Bad points: 1. The white machine doesn't really look like the photo. The photo makes it look like it is a frosted white plastic effect. In reality is is an opaque solid white, as are the sides of the machine. In retrospect I wish I had purchased the grey machine, as the sides are stainless steel and it looks a bit better. It still looks okay, just that the photo is a bit misleading. 2. Machine beeps may or may not annoy some people, it's pretty loud. 3. The little charcoal filter that comes with the machine is not labelled. I actually threw mine away as I thought it was one of those silicone bags that stop dampness in packages, I had to root through our bin for it when I realised a couple of days later that I had thrown out a part of the machine! Look for it inside the carafe when you unpack the coffee maker, it fits into the plastic filter thing inside the water reservoir. You can purchase more charcoal filters from Amazon and the booklet says they need to be replaced every 30 brewing cycles. However, the machine does work without them (as I found out!). 4. You can't seem to get replacement carafes according to some other reviews, so be careful with your glass carafe or you will have to repurchase an entire new machine which seems ridiculous. 5. I have noticed that a tiny amount of water leaks from the water level "gauge" on the water reservoir when the machine is brewing. Not sure if this is "normal" or will become a problem. I am really impressed with this coffee maker, it's a great price, simple to use, works really fast, is programmable so that you can have hot coffee ready to go when you get up in the morning, and has a large capacity. This will definitely get more use in our house than the fancy coffee makers we have had in the past.

Busy Person's best friend
This has been great so far. We were looking for a coffee machine, and having a little baby, time and efficiency is always a struggle. However this coffee machine has been a game changer for us.. we've set it to come on at 6.15am and every morning we are welcomed by a large pot of hot coffee. We've noticed to make more than you think as the amount of cups isn't that accurate. For example we make 8 cups for two of us, which sounds like a ridiculous amount.. but that gives us 2 and a bit cups each. The machine is easy to set up, operate and clean which is awesome! Recommend size 4 filter papers - we didn't have any for the first week and wasn't a big issue as it's easy to clean, but it just makes the process easier. I was buying pre ground coffee which was pretty good, but if you can buy whole beans and grind them yourself, it's worth it! Not only is it more cost effective but the coffee is generally much smoother. I bought a pack of coffee beans from Lidl it was £10 for a huge bag.. and they have been decent (better than the pre - ground lavazza coffee) which was surprising. Overall I'm glad we went with this coffee machine as it fits our needs perfectly. If your in a rush in the mornings a highly recommend this coffee machine.

Great all rounder
We got this to be a more convenient alternative to our usual methods of coffee making, which are pour-over and AeroPress, and it certainly helps us to brew more coffee with less prep and cleanup. It's a solid piece of kit, is actually quite a nice finish and style for the price, and the coffee it's brewing is liked by all of us. It's not very loud while it's working. Heard of leakage in other reviews, but we've had none. The water filling can be slightly fiddly because the reservoir access is quite small, but with a bit of care while pouring it's fine (we got used to it). We really like the simple timer function it has so that we can set it to brew for a certain time in the morning, fitting into our 'getting ready for work and school' routine, meaning it's simplified that a bit (always welcome!). The reason for 4 stars is mainly linked to that: when the coffee is ready the machine beeps 5 times, very loudly, and there's no way to turn that off. It doesn't need to be so loud, and especially since I've put the machine on, know it takes 10 mins to brew, so don't really need such a reminder. Loud enough to wake people up, depending on where your kitchen and bedrooms are situated. Anyway, I guess that's a bit of a first world problem, as with this machine we get to wake up to lovely coffee, automatically brewed and kept warm for 2 hours - all for a very fair price. Happy I chose this one.

Straightforward Great Machine
Easy to set up but just look out for the small charcoal filter that could be mistaken for a bit of packing. It only tells you about it in the replacement section of the booklet. Timer and controls are very easy to set up and use. Coffee is very hot and the fact that it stays hot for 2 hours is great. The taste of the coffee does change the longer it is left but is perfect for me as I like strong coffee. I haven’t felt the need to use paper filters as the permanent filter prevents most residue from getting into the coffee. Brews quickly and the five beeps at the end of brewing are not too bad. All in all a great machine and waking up to the smell of coffee is lovely. Highly recommend.

Very good!
Very good filter coffee machine. Excellent for those who want a larger carafe ( makes a solid 12 regular cups, or three-four huge mugs) and a machine that can be programmed to have your coffee ready in the am. (We were tired of staggering around every morning blinded by sleep while setting up the press.) Stays warm without overheating the coffee. (For those concerned, there are several compatible replacement carafes available on Amazon.) Easy to program and clean. We use (compostable) paper filters, as advised but not necessary. We got the ted version and it is nice.

Filters nice hot coffee, and stays hot on the plate for 2 hours!
This machine has been perfect, so far! Bought it 6 months ago and has never let us down. It has a very easy to set timer, so you can prepare the machine to start filtering at a time to suit yourselves. It filters nice hot coffee, unlike some machines which could do to be a bit hotter. The big plus for us is that the hot plate stays on for 2 WHOLE HOURS, after it starts filtering...unlike the short 40 mins most machines offer. The only negatives I can find are, the annoyingly loud beeps to say the coffee is ready (cant disable this function) and more importantly, you cannot buy replacement jugs if the worst was to happen...like it did for us. One of us...and noone is admitting to it...cracked the jug, rendering it completely useless. Not wanting to buy a completely new machine, we took a gamble and bought a Russell Hobbs - 213070-56 jug (£17.99 at time of purchase), which although slightly slimmer, and 10 cups instead of 12...it actually sits neatly on our machine and does a perfect job! Absolutely love this machine and would highly recommend.
