The stitching and fabric were of very good quality, particularly when compared to the price. It has several large compartments and many pockets for putting things in. No, I am not a chef, but it was obvious how it is very practical for carrying chef tools (knives, spatulas, and other things like that). So, what did I do with this quality pack? I like to go fishing (50 years of primarily fresh water fishing) and I am starting to need something that can travel with me. The size and shape of this pack are perfect for putting utility boxes (that hold fishing lures ... etc.) in the large compartments. And the other compartments hold things like leaders and fishing knives or cutting boards. I think this is a great product that is versatile.

I’m not sure how I feel about this bag. On one hand, wow this thing is hardcore and can hold a ton of gear. On the other hand, I feel kind of silly with this bag, it’s kind of overkill. I have to say, it’s useful when you are traveling with a single bag to carry not just your knives, but gear and clothing if traveling on-site to a kitchen. But for regular use transporting your regular knives (I typically bring four or five with me), this is a bit much, and a regular knife roll is probably enough. I ended up not using this very much just because I don’t ever have an occasion where I need to carry 30 knives plus gear, and if I do, I’m just bringing the regular knife roll and some cooler bags of the rest of the stuff. I have to say this bag looks cool though, and every time I brought it out people ask me about it and where I got it.IF however, I was someone who didn’t drive and either took the bus or biked or walked, I can see this having utilitarian appeal, as it’s hard to store a knife roll in a backpack and wear it while getting around. With this backpack, it can be worn as a regular backpack, storing the knives securely while still functioning as a backpack.

This is a great backpack. Although It is advertised for knives, I bought it to make another bug-out bag (emergency bag). The material is very sturdy and hardy; the zippers feel strong as well. There are a lot of little compartments within the bag, which helps make it easier to store and organize items. My only complaint (and the reason I took a star off) is that the bag is a bit heavy before you put any items in. I'm guessing that is the case BECAUSE the materials are so good, but with the purpose I got it for, it's an added concern. That is my only complaint about the bag, other than that- it's great!

This backpack is freakin awesome! The material of the bag, the quality of the zippers, and the insane amount of pockets in this thing is incredible. I got this as a gift for a chef friend and they were amazed why this is not the new norm in kitchens. The classic knife roll works well obviously but hardly is a cook ever only carrying that. This back pack allows for the function of a knife roll, but the convenience of a backpack. Not to mention this carries at least twice as much as a roll. She's been putting it through the ringer for a good two months now and it's holding up flawlessly.

Love this bag. It feels really rugged and durable and there are tons of internal pockets and pouches which can definitely hold several kinds of knives or pretty much whatever you want to carry in it.The zippers are a little suspect though because they glide really fast and too smoothly, if that makes sense. I already had to realign 2 different zippers when they came off track but I'll attribute that to me not being familiar with the backpack and excited to check it out. If the zippers do end up being an issue, I'll update my review, but for now, it's absolutely a 5 star product that I'd Definitely recommend, and not just for putting Chef equipment/knives in. The price is just a little steep I think but not outrageous, especially since you now you're getting a quality backpack that's actually pretty big and seemingly very durable.

It's much larger than your standard backpack, which in this case is a great thing. There are plenty of places to put knives. If you're like me, you prefer to use your own cutlery when cooking big meals. Also, that compartment is separate from where you can keep your cookbooks or bakeware, in our case, to take to grandmas and use. This backpack has come in handy numerous times already in the short time that we've had it. It's going to get a lot of good use.

The1st thing is this bag has so many pockets to organize and stow all your tools. You can fit all your Chef knives, your other utensils, spices, gadgets and recipe books, or even your laptop. This bag was just full of compartments and is big already, but has a zipper which enables even more space if you need it. Most of the compartments are padded. This also has Molle straps, so you can add additional pouches that are molle compatible. I just love this bag now I'm able to bring all my BBQ equipment with me when I go to BBQ. NO more having my stuff scattered around I'm able to place them all inbthe backpack. I highly suggest this product and I will buy again
