Two monitors work amazingly well
I have used a Geekom mini PC as my desktop for two years, and it drives the two large monitors on my desk and even the 55-inch TV on the wall, and I have gotten used to that amount of workspace, especially for programming and other data analytic work. So we are traveling, and my old laptop does not cut it any longer and has only one screen. I like a two+ monitor setup and I like the two monitors to be the same size (call it a symmetry issue). I decided that my Mini IT11 Geekom would do the traveling, but it has no screen at all. After searching all portable monitors on Amazon, I centered on the ALOLG 17.3 inch monitors and bought TWO of them. I was attracted by the features, looks, and price. I am thrilled so far. They work out of the box (one connected USB-C and the other connected by HDMI. The Geekom powered the USB-C connection, but not the HDMI. No matter, I have both connected to the USB-A to USB-C power supply brick that came in the box. All the connections I needed are in the box and I was glad there was both a 'C' and 'HDMI' cable since my older Geekom (can drive 4 monitors, but all connected differently) - (newer Geekoms have dual HDMI and ... well go look that up yourself. Not a negative for me, but HDR did not work on both monitors at the same time, but I don't care about that. Also, I was able to up one and then both refresh rates to 144Mhz, although not until I plugged them into the power supply. Speaking of which, some description of the power consumption of the included brick and whether it is safe to use a higher wattage would have been nice for me since I am not conversant with that kind of tech detail. I still distrust the covers (which are nice) to hold the monitor steady, but so far so good. The angle is perfect for me. I do like that the cover is not one of those wrap-around and under covers that take up valuable space. They have a very clean appearance, as seen in the picture. BTW, I am working just as I would on my home setup; my travel productivity just increased. i now know I can use it with my TAB (in Dex), my phone, and even my ancient laptop. I have high confidence that they will work simply because of how smooth this beginning is. If not, I will come back and modify this review. My only issue is that I wish that ALOLG had discussed the durability of the screen more in their advertisement. Exactly how resistant are they to accidental scratches? My worry is that they come with a relatively thick screen protector fixed to the top edge. Do I need to leave it in place because the screen surface is delicate? Or should I remove it and take my chances? I wish they told more about this. BTW I can lift up the clear sheet covering the screen and the matte finish on the screens are excellent. Again, I am just wondering how important it is to affix a screen protector, either the one included or an aftermarket tablet screen protector. Finally, I can get the Geekom, my Logi wireless keyboard and mouse, and both monitors in my travel case. They are so thin and protected by the cover that they take up minimal room in my bag. No longer will I have to haul my "monitor box" to have a larger and second monitor when I travel. By the way, the footprint of my setup up as you can see includes the d the monitors measures a eekom and wires that are behind it measure 32" x 18" so this set up would comfortable fit on any small hotel desk (or MIL's dining table). Bottom line, I am thrilled.

Great little display for a great price!
I can finally give an honest review of this product now that I've ironed out some kinks. Honestly, for the price, this thing is amazing. The HDR and DCR work great. Can't say whether or not Freesync or 120hz works or how well, as I am using it through my s22 Ultra to cloud game and as a virtual machine for my desktop through Dex and Steamlink. Firstly, I highly recommend you order a dock for HDMI output and charging if you're going to use this product for Samsung Dex. I was having issues with the display cycling randomly and the higher I set the brightness, the worse it seemed to get. I just don't think that the interface in the monitor has what it takes to charge your device and run the display at the same time, which makes sense. Have no issues running video through the mini hdmi and charging my phone through my dock. It's super handy that the display has a 3.5mm jack for a wired headset as my dock does not. Five out of five stars, would highly recommend to friends and family.

No Warranty, No FreeSync, 60Hz Max with Steam Deck
Edit: it supports 144Hz after all. The Steam Deck had to be manually set to the resolution and desired frame rate. However, FreeSync still didnโt work. Pros: โข Solid build quality โข Supports HDR โข USB-C OTG port for connecting peripherals (mouse/keyboard) โข Two USB-C ports (one for power, one for video), plus a mini HDMI port โข Includes all necessary cables (USB-C video, USB-C power, and HDMI) โข Comes with a basic power adapter that claims to be UL listed (unverifiedโbuyer beware) Cons: โข No warranty beyond Amazonโs 30-day return window โข FreeSync and 144Hz do not work with the Steam Deck (despite enabling them in the OSD); untested on other systems โข Weak built-in speakers, though expected for a portable monitor โข Power adapter is rated at 15W and emits a loud buzzing under loadโpotential sign of poor quality or a safety issue โข Mediocre stand โข High price considering the limited features and lack of warranty โข Poor customer supportโtook multiple inquiries to get a response According to the seller, thereโs no warranty beyond the 30-day return policy. The monitor doesnโt support FreeSync or refresh rates above 60Hz with the Steam Deck. VRR is greyed out, and enabling FreeSync in the OSD menu (even with HDR disabled) didnโt resolve the issueโfeatures that work fine with other portable monitors. Itโs unfortunate, because this is the only portable monitor I found with USB-C OTG port. I took a chance on this monitor, but due to its failure to meet advertised capabilities and the lack of warranty and support, Iโm returning it. Bottom line: I canโt recommend this monitor

Wonderful monitor!
Absolutely love this monitor. Super clear, so easy to plug in, excellent size and color. Very lightweight and comes with its own magnetic case. I've got a couple huge monitors at my computer desk but I wanted one just a little bit bigger than the 14" portable monitor I've got for in the kitchen. I love having my entire desktop PC right here hardly taking up any space. This monitor can go into it's thin case and be tucked out of the way, It even sits in the groove of this keyboard I recently got from Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09LM7W23Y?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1). This is a real nice buy for a great price.

Inexpensive Monitor That Does the Job
I work from home where I have a pretty sweet setup. When I travel to my office in another state, I don't have a dedicated space and needed something portable that I could use as a second monitor. I tried several different brands of portable monitors before settling on the this one. PROS: Lightweight Easy to setup Can be used with a stand sold separately by another seller Cover is nice Decent display for the price Comes with all cables needed Can run standalone power and powered by USB from my Dell. Fits a standard travel case. CONS: Although the cover is nice, it is also used as it's stand. The cover will eventually lose its firmness and no longer be effective. The switch on the side is used for brightness and other settings. It does not retain your settings, so you have to adjust every time you turn it on. I wish it would be just a little brighter, not a deal breaker still plenty effective, but something I noticed. Barely fits in my laptop bag. I had to purchase a slightly larger bag for flying and protection. (Yes, I know that is what you get with a 17.3" monitor) Did not come with a travel case. In the end, it is a nice inexpensive monitor. I do wish it had a case, and I do not like the built-in stand/cover, but it does the job. I bought a standard case and a monitor stand that is spring loaded. It only sits 4 inches or so off of a desk but that it all that I needed. I can also set in vertical mode with the stand. Minus one star as the cover as a stand could be problematic in the future.

Nice portable monitor and works great with mini PC
It's a very nice portable monitor. Instead of a bulky 17 inch laptop, I use this with mini pc and small keyboard. It's got a good picture, easily portable, and works great.
