Rubber gasket broke on both
The jars are nice quality, but both of the rubber gaskets broke that prevents oxygen from getting in the jar. Without the rubber gasket the it doesn’t work.Seller kindly resolved my issue.

I liked that this kit came with weights. It helps so much and now I need to buy more weights separately. Lol

Mediocre -caps don't fit well(Updated)
Everything is great except on of the most important things: lid. The kids don't go one tightly. Keeps popping off.I advise double checking the lid/fit before using it!-------Update:Seller reached out to me and gave me a solution. They provided me a cap that screws on without any issue. Due to this customer service i have updated the ratings! Thank you for your help with this issue Haojin!

Grommet tinder
The grommets that the waterlock sits through is very soft and easily cut when using. Easy to destroy.

Easy to use
This product is easy to use, but I feel I am lucky I’ve seen videos about how to use these because it did not come with any kind of instructions. Seems well built and has plenty of airtight qualities. Here’s to fermenting peppers for hot sauce!

Easy to use, great fermented vegetables.
This is a complete set, all you need is salt, water and vegetables. Items are not top quality but they work and the price is right. Great starter set to see if the process works for you.

Not standard U.S. wide mouth size
I took off one star because standard wide mouth canning jar rings won't work on these. The jars are about 1-2 millimeters too narrow and as you try to cinch down the ring it just slips and keeps spinning. You have to use the lids that came with the jars, it's kind of inconvenient. I suppose if you wrapped some Teflon tape around the threads of the jar before screwing on the ring/lid, that might work?The quality is pretty good as far as coming from China goes. It's average, not super quality, but not as bad as it could be. The best part is the packaging. The way it's packed, you could drop it off a 10 story building and it would probably be fine, super secure.I will keep them even though I cannot use them as I intended. I can find a use for them.

Lids did not fit. Weights chipped.
No directions. Lids need to be readjusted constantly, the weights were chipped so I didn’t try them.
