Great Travel Kettle
Compact low wattage kettle perfect for van life. Removable from base makes brewing easier and just like at home. Takes a little longer than a standard kettle but that's no problem. Great for 2 of us on the road and not too harsh on the eyes either. Used consistantly throughout the year and has not let us down once.

Fantastic travel kettle
I bought this kettle to work off my DJI 1000 V2 power station. It works fantastic draws about 650 watts so no problem there. Takes about 6 minutes to boil 2 mugs of water so that’s ok. If also works of my 1000 watt inverter in my overlander so bonus there. The comments about loose lid, I didn’t have a problem and if you can’t put your finger over lid to be safe perhaps you shouldn’t be playing with boiling water LOL. All in all great item to make life easier on a journey. Also prices of coffees in service area’s means it’s payed for its self after 4 coffee stops. Win win.

Perfect for travelling
This portable compact kettle was purchased for our camper van due to its compact size yet capable of making two full-sized mugs of coffee or tea. It boils in 3 to 4 minutes which is quicker than a gas-based model. The design is stylish, well-constructed and features a retractable cord lead on the base. It has never leaked, pours well, has a satisfying weight and the lid fits securely. It is a highly recommended purchase.

Great for our camper van
I love this kettle. I bought it to replace an old plastic kettle we had on our camper van and it works a treat. it takes about 2.5 mins to boil, so wouldn't agree that it's fast boil, but it is quite low wattage and so doesn't drain our camper van battery too much. It's the perfect size for two people!

Not an 800ml kettle
1st off 700ml not 800. MAX fill line only allows 700ml anymore water goes through a hole designed for steam to trigger the auto off function! Power cord winds into the base, nice idea but if you wind it all in you then have to pull quite hard on your electric cable to get it to wind out - never a great idea, perhaps only wind in what you really need? Low power, draws only 2.5amps handy if you’re on a campsite and on a limited supply, saves switching other items off perhaps. To boil max amount of 700ml takes 6.5 minutes, ok if you’re not in a hurry. If patience is not your thing look for something more powerful. All in all, some goods but for the unwary some really not very good at alls!!!

ALSO MAKES AN IDEAL BEDSIDE KETTLE
Like many oldies with disabilities l am unable to sleep for long periods at night and consequently I’ll frequently have a mug or two of tea in the early hours so this “quiet little kettle” sat on my bedside cabinet allows me to enjoy a cuppa without disturbing my wife. I like the design because it has a small footprint yet feels quite sturdy on its base, the handle feels secure, comfortable and cool when handling and pouring and it shuts of promptly once boiled. For many years we’ve used filtered water (Brita or more recently Aqua Optima) and apart from the improved flavour, the kettle interiors, sprout and lid fitting stay clean even after a couple of years of use. Recommended.

800ml Kettles Electric Travel Compact Travel Electric Kettle
If you want to on save your electric bill, this is it. It only uses 600W. My other kettle used between 2,500 to 3,000 W. Yes it is small. For a 9fl oz mug of water it takes about 2 minutes to boil. If you have more than two people to boil for it might be worth using a bigger kettle. I love it to bits. It is not very noisy, when I am boiling it at 1am, when hubby is asleep. The only thing I would say, is keep a finger on the lid when you are pouring, as lid may become loose. We have solar panels, which quickly showed that the highest use was the kettle - all on me, a tea-aholic.
