I had never realised just how useful this tool can be.I have owned the standard plug in ones for decades and while useful, they are a bit of a hassle to get out and plug in, so oftentimes you make do without them.This on the otherhand, just the fact you can grab it and take it anywhere even if there are no plugs nearby, it makes it so much easier to use. I find myself using it all the time for small jobs here and there because it's that much easier.Quite incredible the difference a little extra convenience makes.I had worried about the spec not being as powerful as some of the more expensive models, however have found it perfectly sufficient for normal use. Love it

Remarkably versatile tool. You may not think you need one, but once you have one you wondered how you managed without it.I have a powerful mains unit at home and a battery model for maintenance jobs on my dinghy etc.

This is well made and easy to use. It is low voltage and charges via USB. Therefore, one cannot expect much torque from it. So one needs to use it very lightly with, for example, polishing pads. Otherwise it slows down quickly with too much pressure.

This is easy to handle, lightweight, did the job that i needed it for. Makes it much easier being cordless. Well worth the cost.

Works perfectly when drilling seaglass in water (keeps the drill bit cool). I got the multi tool adapter thing that dremel sell. This means I can fit any size drill bit in.

Got this a month ago to replace a truly ancient corded Dremel esque thing that I got from Woolworths. Mainly use it with a sanding drum to grind down my Labradors nails (too thick to snip easily). Does that job really well. Just used it to trim down a venetian blind - the plastic slats were childs play but the thin metal top bar was at the limit of what you can cut with this model. I'm going to get the chuck for it so I can easily swap to some smaller shank drills easily.Fits in the hand really well. I've used it more than I thought I would already.Would be even better if it came with some kind of case. I ended up finding one on ebay but it wouldn't kill them to include one.Overall a great tool for light duty job and hobbyists.
