Review: Excellent quality - I've had these for about 2 years now...and I'm SO SAD. They've been so comfortable and supportive to my knees. These shoes have been my dailys for work, and they still support me better than sneakers I've bought 2 months ago. They're very light and slip on easily. I've worn holes through the top with my big toe, so I want to upgrade. Unfortunately, I got these because I had a tight budget. I bought them for $54, and now the exact shoe is $112. It's a great shoe, however I will not be able to afford another pair. Review: Completely different than earlier triumphs, but still good - The Saucony triumph line is a great running shoe, I've used triumphs exclusively through college cross-country as my weekly training shoe. They are perfect for the efficient/ neutral runner looking to put in high miles. I've put up to around 20 miles on these at a time with very little impact to my feet and knees. As others have said, the previous models of triumphs were really the best. The newer models are still good, but are really a very different shoe. The triumph 4's were a spectacularly flexible & cushioned neutral shoe. These & newer models seem to be getting stiffer and heavier with alot more heel/ ankle support, catering more towards people who don't have very good posture. Alot of newer running shoes tend to be that way as well I think, running shoes shouldn't make up for bad running posture/habits. The main reason why I'm still using these at this point is because they fit well for me, wide sizes have a roomy toe-box and a snug-fitting heel. I usually tend to buy older versions of these shoes if I can find them because they are usually alot less expensive.

Great running shoe
I have been on the hunt for a new running shoe as the previous model I wore was discontinued. I found this shoe to be extremely lightweight and comfortable. I bought 2 pairs of these and completed 20 weeks of marathon training and completed a full marathon in these shoes. I did experience some discomfort in my pinky toe following the marathon but no other foot pain with these shoes. These shoes are also very breathable. I did find that the tread seemed to wear fairly fast when running on asphalt but overall a great value for these running shoes.

Not quite what I remember, but the nostalgia is real
I was around 12 or 13 when I first tried these on back in the 80s as my first running shoe. They felt so unique and bouncy. These shoes don't give me that feeling, but shoe technology has come a long way and my feet have been through a lot since then! Doctored up with my inserts and lifts (the shoes as-is don't have adequate arch support), they'll be a great around town shoe, but I definitely wouldn't do any serious training in them. I'm a women's size 8.5, so I ordered the men's 7. Probably could have gone with the 7.5 for more wiggle room, but I'll settle for the 7 since this particular color seems to be in short supply. It's cool that Saucony brought back the classic styles.

Stellar Running Shoe
My 1st Progrid shoe was fitted by a running store I thought they were my favorite ever. That was until I got the updated version here. This one had the arch support and was the stability shoe I needed. I have used so many other types of shoes and these ones are my favorite. High-end Asics are usually a close second, but they cost a ton more. I think these are the best value for a solid stability running shoe. I go between a 9-9.5 (closer to a 9) and these fit perfect. Their comfortable on the track and the trail. They also breathe well and lace up comfortably. The wore out in about 1 year of running 4-5 times a week and unfortunately were unusable as they tore through the mesh. They were incredible while they lasted and I tried getting them again, but I settled for the Progrid 5 which was even better. If you need a stability shoe, get a progrid. You won't be disappointed. Here is the next better version I purchased when these wore out: Saucony Men's Progrid Guide 5 Running Shoe

Light weight shoe feels like spikes
Love these shoes! Iโve done easy runs, long runs, and tempo runs in them on concrete and asphalt. No complaints. Theyโre light as a feather and doesnโt irritate my shin splints. I wear a 8 1/2 and ordered a 9, they fit perfectly. They are very narrow and offer no stability fyi. Which is great for me because I bought the shoes specifically for tempo/faster pace runs. I have insoles with high arch support in my sneakers. I prefer these over the Brooks Glycerins. Those sneakers tore my shins up ๐ข๐ข๐ข! The miles were as follow: 13m 9.39m 10m

Great light and speedy shoe
Great speed workout shoe! Light for speedy runs. Neutral fit and very comfortable. My go to for tempo and fast paced runs. Have purchased these multiple times. Get about 400 miles in them before needing to replace
