Good camera
Easy to setup. Video quality is great. Works great, especially for price. Definitely worth the buy.

Crystal Clear
This camera surpasses the factory camera on our Tundra. The Tundra camera quality is like an old tube TV, and then the new camera is like watching a 4K TV. Great, great camera!

Okay resolution. Cloudy image after recent rain.
I purchased this camera on April 16th 2025. It is now June 2nd 2025 as of this review. The camera was mounted on the front grill of a car. The image is cloudy after 2 recent days of consistent raining; the image had been clear up until this point. The resolution wasn't great to begin with and that was okay since it is a cheap camera after all. What I didn't expect is some water/rain intrusion. I don't think anyone expects this camera to survive full submersion at this price, but some water resistance is not an unreasonable expectation. For those wondering, the camera has never seen an automated car wash, the car is hand washed only.

Decent quality backup camera
Good clarity. Easy installation. No real issues other than adjusting the lens was not what I was expecting. You loosen a set screw and move the lens around. Tightening the set screw causes the lens to move a bit. Need to over correct aiming the lens before tightening to get it where you want it.

Clearly better
I got this to replace an old camera mounted to the back of my RV. Such cameras are exposed to the worst of weather conditions and while they may work for several years the quality of the image keep going down and conversely the newest technologies are making cameras that make much better image and cost a lot less.FEATURESMost cameras I’ve seen attach from the front, in other words the exposed side. Be very aware that this one requires a hole to be drilled, about the size of a pen, and even more importantly you need to have access to the back of the hole to tighten the bolt down. Not all installations will allow access to the back of the hole you drill. Bumpers generally do an fenders as well but rooflines or the back surface of an RV would sometimes be impossible to access. Fortunately the place when my old camera was mounted is accessible from inside one of the cabinets in the back bedroom – you just need someone outside to hold it while you tighten it in place.QUALITYThis is clearly a better camera that was available five to ten years ago, especially for night vision. My monitor screen in the cab happens to have a high resolution screen, and this camera takes good advantage of that, but it would probably take the maximum advantage of most displays.YES NO MAYBEAt only twenty-five bucks this is a superior camera, from the solidly built housing, to the crystal clear wide angle lens and rock solid mounting system it is built much better than average and the difference in image quality is immediately noticeable. This was a good choice for me.
