4th Birthday Outfit
My daughter loved her outfit! I wasn't sure if I should of went with a size up since she's in between sizes but I'm glad I didn't. Got her the 3t/4t and it fit perfect. I purchased leggings for under the dress and the headband to complete the outfit.

Teeny, tiny, scratchy shirt
This outfit is made to be worn by 2 different kids. The skirt is size appropriate with good stretch, but the shirt is tiny. I ordered the 4/5 for my daughter's 3rd birthday which is her normal size and could barely get the shirt on her although the skirt fit great. I compared the shirt to a Carter's 4/5 and there was a huge difference. This shirt was much shorter and at least an inch, if not more, less in the width combined with the fact that it doesn't stretch much. Additionally, the letters are sewn onto the shirt making it very scratchy on the inside. My daughter started scratching herself and immediately asked to take the shirt off. Needless to say she didn't wear the outfit for her birthday, I purchased something else (I had her try it on before because I could tell the size was going to be an issue). I don't think ordering the next size would solve the problem because she wouldn't be able to wear a skirt any bigger and frankly, there would need to be a huge jump in the size of the shirt for her to be able to wear it even if she ignored the scratchiness of the shirt. It is a cute outfit and she loves the skirt but the shirt is useless.

Worked for us
Purchased the short sleeve and it fit perfectly on my daughter who was turning 3. She normally wears a 4t/5t shirt. It wasn’t too small or too big, I say it fit just like her regular shirts we get her.The skirt fit her well too. She normally wears a 3t/4t for pants. The skirt has plenty of stretch to be worn as she grows.I bought this outfit for her to wear to school. We plan on keeping the skirt to allow her to play in it since she likes to play dress up. It’s easy for her to put on by herself and there isn’t a “right” or “wrong” way to be put on. Everything was a win for us.

Cute Outfit, Skirt was Snug
We purchased this for my daughter's 4th birthday. She's a tiny little thing, so we ordered the 3T since that's the size she normally wears. The outfit fit great, but the skirt was snug/tight on her. If you're debating between two sizes order a size up. The other thing to note is that the shirt's shoulders had a similar design to a baby's onesie which I wasn't a huge fan of but should have noticed from the product's image when I purchased it. Otherwise the outfit was adorable and my daughter loved it.

So cute!
I bought this for my granddaughter's third birthday. It came quickly, as Amazon orders do, and she was so adorable. She wore the shirt for the whole week of her birthday. It fit her well. One of the best things is that she loves the skirt and can wear it anytime, not just for her birthday party. It looks adorable on her with many color tops. Very happy with this outfit.

Cute, cute cute
The shirt fit my granddaughter perfect, but wear a tshirt underneath as the letters are sewn on and no backing is on them so they itch and scratch her. The skirt was large on her, but she wore some leggings under it. The colors are very vibrant. For the money it is well worth it.

Good skirt, just okay shirt
My daughter loves this and has gotten good wear out of the skirt. However, the shirt runs really small and all of the designs make the inside of it scratchy. Putting a tank top underneath solves the problem, but she only wore the shirt once or twice because of the scratchiness. She has worn the skirt once or twice a week for about five months and it is starting to fall apart, but I feel like that’s pretty good usage for a very active five-year-old.
