MEH...
I remember getting rock candy for the first time when I was quite young, in the late 60s or early 70s. I fell in love with it! Back then, it was only on a string, and I don't recall it coming in flavors. Are these true rock candy? Yes, I suppose they are. As for the fruity flavors, though, sure, they have a little bit of flavor. But don't buy them if flavor is what you're looking for because the flavor is quite weak. My 14 year old granddaughter loved them, then again, she's never had rock candy in any other form. Before I bought these, I thought the paper straw as a handle is a great idea. That might be so for some folks, but getting at the candy with your mouth can be awkward. I found that snipping the straw a couple of times as I worked my way down helped. I will say, the individual wrapping is a great idea. Be sure to open them either over a trash can because a lot of little pieces fall off. Or, open them over something that will catch the little pieces so that you can eat them. Nowadays, you can buy rock candy in several forms and in several flavors. But I still prefer the plain ol' kind... on a string.

This is NOT rock candy
I'm sure that this product would be fantastic for someone who just wants to stir it into a hot drink. The stick is a full straw and the sugar crystals would likely melt quickly. But for those of us who enjoy rock candy as a delicious candy treat, that is NOT what this is. This is more like someone took a wet straw and rolled it around in sugar crystals enough times to coat the straw a few times rather than growing the sugar crystals. The crystals are way too small and not solid individual crystals but rather just little pieces of sugar held together.

Not like rock candy at all
Definitely not satisfied with these suckers they’re not your old rock candy on a wooden stick like a clump of halfway flavored not sure definitely not rock candy or rock crystals it’s nothing like rock candy it’s on a paper stick that turns to mush. It makes one heck of a mess.

Grandkids loved these!
As a child, my grandfather would give me a quarter when he would visit from Pennsylvania to go to the candy store. I almost always bought rock candy. I told my grandchildren about the candy and was unable to adequately explain about it, and not able to find any anywhere. I found this rock candy on Amazon, as l do so many things, and l received it within a week. My grandchildren absolutely LOVED it. There was a variety of flavors so there was no arguing over it. I recommend that you purchase this if you're looking for rock candy

NOT genuine rock candy…
So, I’ve been searching and buying all my favorite candies. Twist pops, fun-dip and rock candy. I gave this 3 stars because they’re not bad. What they are is broken pieces of lollipops passed off as rock candy! Yes, they taste very good. The paper stick is awful as well. Paper and suckers don’t mix! Think wet paper-yuk. I since found delicious genuine rock candy. Look for product with wooden sticks, typically with a ball of wood at end(s)
