This is one of the best inventions and recent kitchen gadgets I have added to the mix. Not only does it keep your bread fresh, but when you are down to a few pieces, there is enough room in the container to put a new loaf in and add the extra pieces. I also appreciate that the plastic is firm enough that it prevents your bread from being smashed. The only negative is that the lid does come off fairly easily, but I just make sure to pay attention when I put it away so that it doesn’t come off.

We purchased this for our annual 6-day camping trip, and it worked like a charm. It kept our bread fresh and dry for the whole trip. I followed the suggestion of folding the bread bag over the outside edge, and that made the bread more accessible as we got further down in the loaf (pull the bag further out of the keeper, and there's no need to reach down to the bottom for your next slice). The lid stayed on tight, even with that bread bag layer. The density of the plastic was what I expected. The unit is easy to clean as long as you have with a long scrub brush, to get into the corners at the bottom. I may end up getting another one for home, as my son tends to go through half a loaf quickly, then he takes a bread break for a few days. This keeper might help keep it fresher, so we don't waste bread.

We thought we would try this bread keeper as we are retired and don't eat much bread. We usually find it hard or moldy when we want some. This bread keeper works fantastic!. It will keep your loaf of bread for weeks fresh and free from mold. Just pull the plastic bag down the sides and pull down to get the slices you want. Great. Would recommend it to anyone.

These things are great. You slide your bread bag in, open it up and pull the bag up and over the outside of the box like your would a trash bag in your trashcan, then you snap the lid on and your bread is kept in a fresh, air tight environment, preventing your load from going stale and often times keeps it from getting moldy longer since you aren't reaching your filthy hands in there.My biggest complaint was that, after buying two of these, I saw the same product from the same company (Budeez) at Amazon's largest competitor for about $9 cheaper...I don't regret buying two of them but I sure would have liked to have not spent $18 to $20 more than what I did.

I find today buying the usual loaf of bread is smaller now. Prices have risen and they are cutting the sizing down. So, now this breadbox has excess space. It sits on my counter and under the cupboards and has been too tall from the get go. I'm hoping the seller can offer a smaller breadbox for a future purchase and then I can donate this one to my local charity box.All in all, the best thing about this breadbox is how it keeps the bread fresh. No more last couple of slices getting hard around the edges. Pulling down on the plastic packaging pulls the bread slices up really great. Worth every penney!

Finally no need to toss out part of a loaf of bread. No worry about the bread being left open or not tightly closed. Before 4 or 5 slices of bread got tossed from every loaf. Now none because the box is easy close and no searching for dropped bread tie. Worth every penny!

Expectations weren't high when buying this, just wanted to keep the cats from tearing the bag apart. Little did I know, I would also be solving the problem of bread going moldy from moisture or a bag left untied. Pretty great product.
