If you are skipping a decent amount at all, you need this mat.Trust me, I paid the price with absolutely BRTUAL shin splints.I got into skipping over the last several months and have been progressively doing longer sessions, BUT only on hard pavement. That was a BIG mistake.I developed severe shin splints and researched the best way to prevent them in the future. Turns out having a solid mat will go a long way in helping you jump properly and prevent pain.So I grabbed this, and I am super happy. It is not too thin, but also not too thick, and it is the perfect oval shape. Very high quality material that has lasted me 3 months of jumping every day so far.It also has a very nice and easy to insert carrying bag for easy transportation.Highly recommend!

I think this could be the mat to get. There are some cheaper ones out there and some much more expensive ones but I can say this FEECCO mat has been just right for me. Good size, seems to be durable. Comes with a carry case as well so I can easily throw it over my shoulder and take it to the local park. Only downside I think is that it could be nice to have some kind of strap for it to make it easier to put in the case.. I put a big rubber band I had around it after I rolled it up and problem solved. I had had some new issues jumping on concrete but with this matt and some new shoes I'm back to jumping almost every day.

Workout with jump rope perfect

The mat is of solid construction, though be warned, it is quite heavy. That makes it a bit impractical for me as I am currently a pedestrian. The carrying case, by contrast, is rather flimsy. I ripped the mesh portion just trying to peel the mat out of the case. Also, DO NOT make the mistake of lying down on this mat without a shirt. It sticks to bare skin and peels off painfully. But for the express purpose of a jump rope mat, I believe it performs well.

I was using yoga mat for all my indoor workouts. When it comes to jump roping, the mat just keeps moving away. I figured I might need another mat for that. I bought another jump rope mat but unfortunately it's the same like my yoga mat. So I decided to try this more expensive one and finally it WORKS! This mat looks really nice and it absolutely does the job. It doesn't move and it's large enough.Now we not only use it for jump roping, but my husband also uses it for push up and weight lifting. We will see if it's durable over the time, but so far it's been great and it looks very solid.Overall we LOVE it.

I didn't want to damage my floors while jumping rope, but I don't jump rope in the same place every day either. This mat is tough, easy to store, and dense enough to provide a little relief for my 65 year old knees without feeling spongey. It also feels great doing other exercises between my short jump rope sets.The carrying bag is perfect. The mat fits in with no problem every time.I really like this jump rope mat.

Using this in basement with carpet. The impact is good as it is very soft. Able to skip barefeet and no impact issues. Highly recommend as it is easy to pack up and store.
