Carlyle is one of those brands.I tend to go through a lot of lysine, so this is a nice big bottle that will last me a while.500mg is a nice amount. I sometimes get 1000mg, but they tend to be very large and hard to swallow. These are much easier to swallow.Great deal on these, as well.

Excellent product. Size of the 500mg dose is appropriate. It's a caplet easy to swallow. Will continue to buy this brand.

I have been taking L-lysine for about a year. I usually add the powder form to my smoothie and wanted to find one that I could easily pack for travel. This is the first I decided to try. I like that the supplement is packaged and lab-tested in the USA. It is in a coated caplet form, making it easier to swallow. I also like that it is free from gluten, yeast, milk, soy, artificial flavor, sweetener, or flavor, and has no preservatives. They recommend taking it on an empty stomach, oops. It has dicalcium phosphate which, when I looked it up, said it is a calcium supplement that is used as a binder in many pharmaceuticals, and croscarmellose which I found is added to break the tablet up in the intestine to increase absorption. The expiration date was 21 months out, and for a 250-day supply, I am happy.

I started taking L-Lysine supplements a couple years ago. They seem to help with daily stress. I typically don't take it every day. Just a couple times a week.This supplement comes as solid tablets (which can be cut in half if difficult to swallow). They are a great value: Check the price you pay for 250 tablets. Yes, each tablet is a full 500 mg. No odor, no aftertaste. This is a very good product.

I've been taking lysine on and off for 20 years. Maybe I should take it on a regular basis but I don't have the bandwidth for that. It is good to have around for when things get stressful, it keeps a bad situation from getting worse. These are gluten-free and have no dairy in them and that's important to me. I trust the brand, have been using their products for a long time. The expiration date on the bottle is 8 2025 so plenty of time to use them up. No problem swallowing me in fact they seem smaller than my other pills of the same dosage, 500 mg.

This lysine supplement consists of large coated tablets. They have a faint slightly sweet flavor on the tongue. I don't typically have any issue swallowing pills or capsules, but I found these difficult to get down - I often needed multiple drinks of water to power through it. I can't say I've noticed any real benefits from taking it, but I've had no negative side effects.
