I got bands for working out at home. I found that I could never find something stationary that would hold the pressure I needed to work out properly. This door anchor design was literally perfect! Instead of searching all over for where to put a band that won't snap back at me. I could easily put it on this strap have on the door and know that it wont go anywhere! Been able to work out more consistently. Very happy to have found this simple device!

Just to get this out of the way: This door anchor is *not* "extra large." It's shorter than most of my others, and has a smaller foam ball. Is that a problem? Not unless your heart is set on an extra-large door anchor. If size is the way you judge door anchors, expect to be disappointed.Measurements aside, this anchor seems perfectly fine, even as one of a family of older, bigger door anchors in my collection. Like the web page says, it feels strong and durable, and I trust that it won't break mid-exercise. It's long enough for my door, and the spongy ball is big enough not to slide under the door, which is really the whole job of a door anchor's spongy ball.I like having a different anchor for every exercise that requires one, so I don't have to keep stopping to slip one band out and another one in. (Same goes for handles.) This seems like a good one.Not big. But good.

This anchor has made my resistance bands so much more versatile. One thing to note: if your home's interior doors are flimsy, position the anchor so you exercise on the side of the door opposite of the direction the door swings out. That way, you're not relying on the doorknob hardware to keep the door from opening. For me, that means my safest workout option is to exercise in my hallway since the bedroom doors all open inwardly. The door anchor appears to be sturdily made. It does what it is supposed to do. Reasonably priced. Recommended.

This is the perfect product for home workouts using resistance bands. Put the thick part inside a closet and close the door. Slide the strap underneath and now you can thread your resistance bands through something that will hold as you do your reps. The extra large, heavy duty part means you can do a lot of resistance. This is good for someone who is using higher-tension bands, and someone who themselves has a fair bit of weight behind them, therein multiplying the force being placed on the item. Pair this item with a strong door, and your workout plan will hold.My only gripe is that it came in a loose plastic bag instead of a box, so if you're looking to gift this to a fitness lover in your life, it's not as intuitive to wrap. Clearly, that is a very minute point, so it still get five stars.

I didn't realize when I initially got one of these with a resistance band set that I'd ever want more than one. But enter PT and trying to do multiple exercises with bands, and I found out that it's kind of a pain to swap bands out. This works perfectly to hold the band into a doorway and is exactly what I wanted.Highly recommend this product!

Great quality product at a good price. Very durable item that is comfortable to use with great stretch. Very easy to install and use.
