One major hurdle I've faced in my creative endeavors is how grimy traditional coloring mediums can be. Wax bits and wood flakes, smears of graphite dust and clogged sharpeners... GROSS.I feel like these are an age-appropriate material for a 30-something semi-professional illustrator. The barrel color is true to shade. Quality wise, they're a fair compromise between Crayola and PrismaColor. They build up smoothly and can handle enough pressure to put down full saturation without making ghost lines or backsliding into the barrels. And my ADHD brain LOVES these, since A. I'm no longer wasting time searching for/cleaning/using a pencil sharpener and B. I don't have to face the dread of not wanting to do art because my tools are all broken and ugly.AND OMG they actually are reasonably erasable, unlike *those pens*... I think my main complaint is that my usual brand of eraser isn't ideal for erasing these. Gel erasers like the one included are definitely the most effective.The only other complaint is that I can't get single color refills. I'd be stocked up, buying more sets for gifts, and singing from the hills if they offered that option.

This clearly was designed to compete with various pencil sets, 36 pencils total as it has the standard low supply of flesh, pink, red, yellow, and orange with an abundance of green, blue, purple, and brown. And they did a good job. The sharpener is excellent, just didn't force it like some people on here have. Take your time and tap the bottom so the shavings go into the cylinder.It is nice, portable, the pencils blend well for wax, and is very convenient. I am pretty sure the refills work, but I just bought this.5 stars ✨✨✨✨✨

These pencils are great! The convenience of a mechanical pencil but able to have the sharp point of a traditional pencil. It even comes with refills. My son thought they were cool.

This has got to be the best pencils I've used! Vibrant colors, soft lead, and the cutest little sharpener that I've ever seen! Comes with refills too and an eraser. It has a nice case as well. I hope they make a larger set!
