Apple BarrelAcrylic Paint in Assorted Colors (2 oz), 21477, Palm Leaf

My favorite subjects to paint are palm trees. This is after the storm Olivia passed through Hawaii. I used the sunny skies yellow and the palm tree great. Perfect colors.

This paint is shown on the blue “A” in my project, and with only one coat, compared to two coats each on the orange and red letters (DecoArt crafters paint) and the purple letter (Darice brand). The coverage the Apple Barrel provided was far superior, as well as how much more smoothly and easily it went on. The green letter (ArtDeco Americana paint) is also only one coat, and a better paint than the other three, but the finish on the blue letter with this Apple Barrel paint is the prettiest. It’s absolutely worth the extra dollar - I’ll probably end up buying the other colors in this brand now to finish the project.

I purchased a number of colors but I'm just rating the color I believe is associated with this post which is Pure Gold. I was looking for a gold color and based on the bottle photo which was all I had to go by I got it. Turns out this is a METALLIC gold which I didn't want. Why on earth didn't they name it Metallic Gold? Secondly there was about 1-2 tablespoons of the paint missing almost as if someone bought then returned it? Other colors of this brand were filled to the neck of the bottle. Plus the cap is sealed with plastic but you can just screw off the lid and there's no other seal. It's really odd!

👨‍🎨 Apple Barrel Acrylic Paint in Assorted Colors (2 oz), 20595, Concord Grape🖌 Great paint for Acrylic Pouring Art.I use this brand 90% of the time and the other 10% of brands I use, if there is acolor that I want and not available by this brand, or when making custom colors.A couple of recipe's that work for me, are:1)⦁ 50/50 ratio⦁ 50% Floetrol to 50% Acrylic Paint⦁ Small amount of water to thin, if neededor2)⦁ 70/30 ratio⦁ 70% Floetrol to 30% Acrylic Paint⦁ Small amount of water to thin, if needed I also weight all of my paint mixture's using a digital kitchen scale in order tomaintain consistency. Works very well but it does take a little practice to achievegreat results. Don't worry though, it doesn't take too much time to get a feel forit.This is a great color to have.. My bottle arrived and the paint inside was very thick and rubbery. I think maybe it got dried out too much. There was still some useable paint inside, but the amount of useable paint was less than half the total amount of paint inside the bottle. Not sure if this was a fluke, so I may give them one more shot - if the rest of their paints are like this, though, I will not be buying craft paints from Amazon again. Maybe it's just better to get them "fresh", in person, at a store.

NOTE: This review is actually for Lavender Sachet and not Bright Magenta.I bought Apple Barrel paint because I was looking for Nicole’s Craft Studio paint on stores but I realized they shut down, so I switched to this brand. Overall, the paint is actually very good for opaque slime, it colors my paint easily. In the last picture you may not see it clearly on camera but in-person it feels like a cute lavender color, and it matches perfectly with the color I wanted it to be. The two problems are that it doesn’t have a seal, shown in the 2nd picture. I was pretty chill with it because I only use it for slime, but it may annoy some customers. The second problem is that your clear slimes turn opaque when using acrylic paint to dye it, but I didn’t mind as well. Otherwise, it’s a good acrylic paint brand, and I’m sticking to this brand for a while.

They came packaged this way. Busted open and not worth making the trip to return. Would have better luck with the dollarstore paint

Color is honestly represented by packaging. Fast cure time with time to touch up and correct. Dries fast you can purchase at another retailer for about 50 cents is the only downfall but I suppose with the free shipping it is worth it.

It arrived with lid lose and little spilled. When i tried to use it was surprisingly thin, more like a stain to me. Ive had 2 other apple barrell paints and theyve not been so thin. The colour due to thinness of paint wasnt very good. More just a little bright than anything. Disappointed in this one.

Great white paint. Very pigmented ( if you can say that on white) mixes well with other colours and has a fair quality of coverage

I bought this as it said gold but it's yellow. Very thin consistency.

Perfect 5⭐️ I highly recommend only needed one coat of paint will defiantly buy again
