Great for a run commute
I purchased this to carry things to and from work as a part of a new run commute. The route I take is 5 miles each way, every day, so the bag has to be comfortable, durable and capable of holding all of my work stuff. Most days, that includes: shirt (in an I Am Run Box); trousers, socks; packed punch; towel; iPad; and kit to run home in. I leave a pair of work shoes at the office, along with toiletries.I've found the bag to be great. The main section doesn't have any dividers, but that hasn't posed me any major problems. There are two compression straps, one on each side of the bag. This means that I can tighten things up nicely and reduce the side-to-side sway on the bag. There's a also a single fastening strap that pulls down tight over the middle of the back of the bag. This too helps hold the load nice and tight. When I've had to take in extra bits and pieces I've found that it does start to move around on my back a bit, but that's when it's nearing capacity. Provided I keep it at less than 80% full I don't really seem to get much movement at all.The straps to hold it you your body are great. The two shoulder pads are nicely padded, without being too wide. I've had problems with other bags, where the straps are either not padded enough (and so cut in) or else are too wide as a consequence of having too much padding, and so run against my neck. Whilst I had some neck rub early, I've found that I can adjust the fit of the back using the various straps to ensure that the bag doesn't rub. The other straps? The chest strap is nicely adjustable and comfortable and the waist strap is, too. As well as being well-padded, the waist strap comes with two zip-up pockets, one on each side. I find them roomy enough to have keys and wallet in one side and my phone (iPhone 6+) on the other. So, they're not small. Equally, I don't find that my keys jingle too much!I don't think that the bag is described as waterproof, but I've run in and back in the rain on several occasions and everything inside has stayed nice and dry.All in, I've found this to be excellent. It's a capacious, comfortable running rucksack that carries exactly what I need for a 10 mile a day run commute.

Travelling light
Great light-weight pack. I have taken several long distance hikes in Europe & US with this and recommend it for anyone who wants to pack light and go far.
