Good quality raffia at a very reasonable price. I bought mine to make thatch for my Tudor dolls houses.

A labour of love.
Having already bought ( and used up ) 500 grams of this lovely raffia I ordered the 1 kilo bundle soon after.Sad to say that my second bundle weighs a lot less than 1 k.For anyone who is interested , I was able to make 4 plaited raffia mats(of 22 cms diameter ) from 500 gms ---making each mat cost £3-25 when the p&p was taken into account . The work involved was endless -------so bite the bullet and buy ready made !!!! Life is for living .
