Am very impressed with this folding panel, though I have yet to measure the amps I get. Probably not 5, but close to it. Bought it initially for my portable solar generator (see separate review). I now find that the solar panel on the roof of my van is able to power everything I run, including the 400 watt solar generator and use this panel to keep my starter battery fully charged as well as my cell phone (Samsung Note 4). It folds well and compact and weighs much less than than I had expected. Nice backup panel, which allows me to park in the shade and have a way to still charge my cell phone or a fan.I was also impressed by the seller who included a paper apologizing that the brand was Allpowers, not Giaride, but that it comes from the same factory. The Allpowers panel would have been $170.00 and I only paid $125.00 for this one.

As a solar charge panel it does the job but there is a quirk that I find difficult to justify. The output port is not the standard 5.5 MM which most others use, but some oddball size which requires the use of an adaptor. What's that all about? I recently needed a 100W unit and chose another brand to avoid that hassle again... Think before you buy.
