What I liked: This is a decent looking raised bed, but nothing fancy. I have it placed on my deck for an herb garden and it gets the job done. I like that it has a liner and the corner caps add a nice touch. What I didn't like: There were strong varnish fumes upon opening. Enough so the fumes gave me a headache. The product seemed to have been packaged before the stain was dried. There were sticky spots everywhere, pieces were sticking to other pieces, and the pages of the instructions were sticky. Supposedly, one person can put this together with a screwdriver, and while technically true, two people and a torque screwdriver would have made it a lot easier. Many of the screws go directly into wood without predrilled holes and though the wood is somewhat soft, a lot of elbow grease was needed to insert the screws all the way by hand. The screws also split the wood in a couple of places. In the attached picture, I have blue plastic underneath to catch any water overflow. But so far overflow hasn't been a problem and I've removed the plastic. Overall, I think the engineering and finished product are mediocre, but for the price, it gets the job done.

This is a cute planter that will serve the intended purpose. Just keep in mind that when you're putting it together, it takes two people to hold the pieces and put in the bolts!

My 85-year old mom who loves gardening loved this. Its height was perfect for her.
