The top was actually chipped, but I had a spare from the previous pot which had cracked along the bottom (having dropped it) so I made use of that. I love the pots and have 2, one for marmalade and one for jam.

I have a whole range of these now. Good weight, easy to wash and nice and stable in the fridge. They are perfect for home made cream teas and always impress. Shame the spoon is light plastic but I have swapped with spoons of my own.
