I got this filter after a cheap one gave out after not too long. So far it has kept the water clear and not murky and I love the oxygen option for it, you don't have to get a oxygen pump!

The media could not be loaded.  Bought this to assist an older pump i have since there is a haze. It cleans very well as you can see i have two of the four sections installed. It cleans alot of particals its a fresh water 100 gallon aquarium. With rocks and an old wagon wheel. Seems to be helping. It is also an aerator.

Using for my axolotl tank and I love it! Works really good. I love that I can add air to it. I love that the sponge filters are so easy to clean. I love that I can add the filter cubes to match with my tall tanks or decrease cubes for my short tanks.Only issue I am having is removing the top cube from the plate that holds it to pump. I tried using a knife to gently pry off the cube but it busted. It could be because I do not have much hand strength but I am unable to squeeze enough to take it off. 😥I really hope I am able to buy some replacement cubes. I really like this set up and would love any ideas to help remove the cubes without breaking them.

I would 100 percent recommend this product. It’s keeping my tank clear and very easy to clean.

i have much more expensive systems....none compare to this and the air it puts in tank...12/16/23...update...1/1/24..african cichlids love this.....they swim into it then let the current push them off

Seems to be working so far. Very strong pump. Adjustable by removing "blocks" and directional "bubbler"

Well it was a mistake that I picked the wrong product and chose the 40-100 Gallon, so I can't actually use it for intended purposes in my smaller aquarium. It's just too powerful and nearly blew all my plants away in my fishless cycling tank. I'm planning to try to attach a DIY spray bars with this filter, so maybe I'll get usage of this in the future.However as far as the product goes, the really nice things about the filters is that they are customizable with whatever you wish to put in aside from the provided sponges. You can also attach up to the amount you want depending on the height available in your tank. There are some who may not like to see their equipment in their tank; this filter can definitely take your eye's attention. But if this doesn't matter to you, the clear plastic chambers also lets you see when a little sponge cleaning may be required. The lower chambers are easy to take off using a light squeeze, but the chamber closest to the pump will require a little extra care to take off. You'll need to insert your finger inside the hole and push the side of the chamber lightly so that the little hook could detach, and just pull the top off while you still have your finger through. I saw another review shown a broken chamber photo, due to the trickiness of taking the top cover off.What attracted me is this modular design that is customizable, and the price seems fair for under $30. If you need a strong, budget pump for your large aquarium, this is a good choice.
