LEGO Speed Champions Ferrari 488 GT3 “Scuderia Corsa” 75886 Building Kit (179 Pieces)

Great LEGO set.I'm really excited that Amazon is now offering LEGO sets from the Speed Champions theme. Previously, the Speed Champions theme was only available via Toys R Us and LEGO, however, with Toys R Us going out of business, it would appear that Amazon has picked up this theme as well.This particular LEGO Ferrari set has an 'official product' license sticker on the bottom of the box... how cool!The coloring on this set looks great and the level of detail is through the roof. For the price, you honestly can't go wrong with the Speed Champions sets. The vehicles are very accurate to the models they are meant to portray, and the designs are excellent. Additionally, this vehicle's wheels turn smoothly and it looks great in our LEGO city. BONUS: This set comes with two types of wheel covers which give you some flexibility to personalize the completed look. The vehicle looks awesome in person, so don't just rely on the pictures, because they really don't do this Ferrari justice.Make note, the Speed Champions builds typically include lots of smaller LEGO bricks, so you've been warned if you have young brickers who may need assistance.One negative that exists with the Speed Champions LEGO sets is that they come with lots of stickers. I know LEGO uses stickers as a means to increase realism while keeping the price down, but this is definitely something to consider when it comes to who builds this LEGO set. A young bricker is going to need assistance applying the many stickers. This particular set is extra heavy with stickers. In the Amazon search bar, simply type in 'warehouse deals' and then type in LEGO. This will then populate your screen with items that AWD is selling for a reduced price. AWD is a great alternative if you're wanting to score new LEGO for a cheaper price.How it works: A LEGO box gets damaged during delivery or while in transport in the warehouse, Amazon then ensures the contents are undamaged and still in perfect condition. Then Amazon sells that item for a reduced price due the damaged packaging. In other words, if you don't care about the LEGO box, then this is a great way to get brand new LEGO for a reduced price due damaged packing. This is another well built LEGO race car. The 488 GT3 is a fun build with lots of interesting shapes. There are a lot of stickers, but that is to be expected with a race car that is covered with decals. You can get away with only the headlight and engine stickers if you really don't like using the stickers. The car is predominantly red with only a little white and black added on here and there.In the Speed Champions Ferrari Ultimate Garage 75889 you get a 488 GTE. This GT3 is nearly identical to the GTE, except for the color choices. There are a few changes around the door area, and the sides of the spoiler. If you have the 488 GTE already, this is not an improvement on the previous version. It is just fun to have a few different cars in the Ferrari stable for racing as a team against other brands.As a stand alone model, this is a great car. If you already have the 488 GTE, you may not need this one as well, but it does have a different enough look with the majority of the car being in red. It is a fun build, and a good display piece.

My child loves cars and enjoys building these smaller lego kits from the Speed Champions series. Good step by step directions, the parts fit well together, fun to use as a toy after it has been built as well. These kits are awesome and make a great gift for a child that loves cars.

Officially licensed Lego Ferrari. No more needs to be said. But just in case that didn't sell you, this thing is awesome. Fun to put together and looks amazing on display. I love cars, legos, and Ferrari's. I ended up buying the other Ferrari from this set and its equally awesome. If you are thinking about getting this, do your self a favor and get it now before the price doubles or triples in a year or too.

My son saw the car pictured on the box and ripped into it like a lion on a gazelle. Within 30 minutes, the car was built and rolling around the floor with human sound effects. It's just as popular and appreciated today as the morning he received it. This was such a successful gift and for the price, I can't believe how happy it made the birthday boy!

Gave as a gift for my grandson. He loves supercars, so this was right down his alley. Directions are easy to follow, it didn't take long for him to put it together. Well made Lego product. He likes it very much.
