Intense Pleasure: Love and Revenge Collide in This Thrilling Romance (Bound Hearts Book 14)

I have read a lot of books by Lora Leigh and have loved them all. The charcaters have always been brilliant. However, in Intense Pleasure the heroine drove me mad. Initially you think she is going to be strong and independent, due to her work and the way she stands up to the men. She then goes and ruins it all by completely submitting to her father for most of the book. He says jump, she doesn't even ask how high. She is obsessed about having respect for him, but in this seems to then have no respect for herself, or the men she is meant to have feelings for.The heroine's attitude really bothered me, it dictated my enjoyment of the whole book. Saying that, Lora Leigh as ever does not disappoint with the sex scenes, hence the 2 stars for those.

I started reading Lora's books a while ago and can honestly say that I haven't read a bad one! She's writes a great story full of thrills,sexual tension,hot hot sex and of course a happy ending which as an old romantic i need. So thanks Lora I'll keep increasing if you'll keep on writing!!

Amazing series, couldn't put it down. Can't wait for more.

Just wasn't as good as the books before very disappointed 🙁

Good storyline. Strong characters. Witty one liners and lots of sarcastic comments.Summer is a fantastic heroine, she is strong yet vulnerable, feisty yet gentle. I loved the give and demand of her.Falcon and Raeg were perfect characters with each brother giving off the different qualities. Falcon being the in tune, fun and playful whilst Raeg is the argument and the byplay.The suspense was good, no one knew the villain before its too late. Kept me guessing.I gave 4 stars because towards the end of the story it was just too much steamy scenes.Now I know its lora Leigh, and her box have lots of steamy bits in it, but this was a lot. I felt like it detracted a bit from the story.
