Not suitable for Hydropool Self-Cleaning hot tubs
Whilst the item appeared good quality and the service from the seller was excellent, please note that this filter is NOT suitable for use in Hydropool Self-Cleaning Hot Tubs (ours is a model 770)It is a very tight fit into the filter compartment and re-fitting the chlorine tablet dispenser/top cover into the centre bore of the filter was even harder work. This clearly affects water flow within the filter housing as, after two days, the chlorine tablets had barely started dissolving and the tub water was cloudy. I re-fitted a genuine Hydropool filter and all was back to normal in a day or so.I bought the item on a gamble as it is much cheaper that a genuine Hydropool item but I'll be sticking to the proper part in future.

Good filter with speedy delivery
Delivery on this item was speedy.I bought this filter for a Hydropool 17 foot swimming pool and it fitted perfectly. The pool was fully functional but the old filter had been in for some time.24 hours after fitting I noticed that the water appeared clearer so I took the filter out to see whether material had been filtered out. I was surprised how much material had been removed by the filter in such a short time. The ozonator nozzles also produced more bubbles than previously.
