Great Cheap Head Tracking Cam
I purchased this exclusively to use as a head tracking camera for PC gaming. Overall, the image quality is subpar at best, sound quality is okay, and the design leaves a little bit to be desired especially when hanging off of your monitor. I do like the integrated threaded insert for a tripod mount, which makes it easy to use with a magic arm // other desk mounting systems. The cable is a little on the short side. The best part is that it's natively recognized and truly plug and play with windows and PCs, requiring no additional software bloat in order to use the device. In my application (for headtracking using eyeware beam) it works really well. DCS, Flight Simulator 2024, and Sim racing games all perform well, and it hasn't dropped out performance. I don't like the gloss black plastic on the front of the device which makes it prone to scratches and smudges, but the rest of the camera is decently built- about what you would expect for the price point. Don't expect miracles- but if you need a cheap camera for head tracking, this is a good bet.

pretty good budget webcam!
pretty nice webcam for $15. i haven’t had it glitch out on me like other reviews mentioned (will try to update if this happens). it was rlly easy to install / connect, u just plug it in and it works! the autofocus is a bit finicky and takes a bit of time to focus but it works well for the most part. the picture i included is just a stuffed animal i have thru the webcam to show the quality, ignore the weird texture - that’s just my screen

The video quality is clear and sharp
I really like this webcam. The video quality is clear and sharp, especially in 2K, and it works great for video calls and streaming. The autofocus is fast and keeps the image looking good without any effort. The microphone is decent and picks up my voice clearly, so I don’t always need an extra mic. I also like the privacy cover, which is a nice feature for security. It was very easy to set up—just plug and play, no issues at all. Overall, it’s a great value for the price and I would definitely recommend it.

Great..!, 100%.
The camera looks great. I've had it for a year now and the quality is still pretty good. I recommend it if you want to start streaming or for video conferencing and want high-quality images; the difference is very noticeable.

Piece of junk!
Let's talk about the saylas 2K Webcam. It boasts some impressive specs: 2K/30fps, 1080P/60fps, autofocus, dual noise-cancelling microphones, a privacy cover, and even a tripod! It sounds like the perfect tool for crystal-clear streaming, seamless video calls, and generally looking like you have your life together online. I envisioned professional-looking presentations, smooth gaming streams, and never having to apologize for my blurry, potato-quality laptop camera again. The reality? This webcam is less a reliable piece of tech and more a temperamental artist who walks off stage mid-performance. Its specialty isn't high-definition video; it's high-frequency disappearing acts. From the moment I plugged it in, it was clear this wasn't going to be a stable relationship. It connects, it shows a beautiful, crisp image for approximately 37 seconds, and then... poof. Gone. Vanished into the digital ether. My face freezes on screen, my voice cuts out, and I'm left staring blankly at my monitor while the other participants in the call wonder if I've been abducted by aliens or just have incredibly unstable internet (it's the webcam, I swear!). It's like having a conversation with someone who constantly hangs up the phone mid-sentence. "So, about the quarterly proj-" click. "Could you please send me the rep-" silence. "My cat just did something amazi-" picture frozen in a distorted grimace. I've tried different USB ports. I've updated drivers. I've sacrificed a small, non-essential household item to the tech gods. Nothing works. It connects, it disconnects. It's the only consistent thing about this webcam. It's a master of the digital Houdini act. The autofocus? Great, when it's actually connected long enough to focus on something. The noise-cancelling microphones? Probably work wonders, but nobody can hear me long enough to appreciate the lack of background noise. The privacy cover? Hilarious. The webcam disconnects so often, the privacy cover is practically redundant. My privacy is guaranteed by the device's inability to maintain a connection. If you enjoy the thrill of uncertainty in your video calls, if you like keeping people on their toes wondering if you're still there, or if you just need a very expensive, very unreliable paperweight with a lens, then this is the webcam for you. In summary, the saylas 2K Webcam is a diva with a serious case of stage fright. It shows up, looks good for a moment, and then bails without explanation. It's less a streaming camera and more a blinking notification that says "User has left the meeting (again)." Buyer beware: you're not just buying a webcam, you're buying a ticket to the most frustrating game of digital hide-and-seek you've ever played.

Good image quality, clear microphone, and very versatile
I really liked this webcam. The image quality is good for video calls, and the microphone sounds clear, which is very convenient for meetings or classes without needing an external mic. One of my favorite features is the flexible stand. It can be bent and also has small legs, so you don’t have to keep it clipped to the computer — you can also place it on a desk. This makes it very versatile depending on your setup. Overall, it feels well made, is easy to use, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I would recommend it if you’re looking for a practical and functional webcam.

MacBook Pro: case by case compatibility issues, clear budget web camera
I bought this as an extra camera for my MacBook Pro- it works great in quality and with the auto focus. As long as you have an adapter then the camera will plug in just as well. I’ve had issues with certain apps and websites showing just a black screen when I connect. The only way I’ve solved this is by going into settings and restarting the camera by selecting it again. This means the speed of the camera can vary (as you have to take time in order to troubleshoot before you go online) so keep that in mind when you start to use the camera.
