Used this fabric to replace a sagging headliner and it turned out great. The suede surface looks clean and premium, and the foam backing is evenly bonded with no thin spots. Once glued, it laid flat with no wrinkles or sagging. The foam thickness is just right โ enough cushion without making trim pieces difficult to reinstall. It cuts cleanly, stretches slightly around curves, and adheres well with proper headliner adhesive. After install, road noise reduction was a nice bonus. Pros: Even foam backing with good adhesion No sagging once installed Easy to cut and form around curves Clean black suede look Large enough for full headliner jobs Cons: Requires proper headliner spray adhesive (not included) Bottom line: Great headliner fabric for DIY or professional installs. Looks factory once installed.

This is my go to product when reupholstering a headliner. I've used this in a MKV Jetta and a 2012 Chevrolet Caprice PPV. Both projects came out fantastic. I'll be ordering this soon to do the headliner in a b7 Passat next. On the 2012 Chevrolet Caprice PPV I did the headliner and I had almost enough to do the entire package tray, but the spots that didn't get covered are hidden so it didn't matter. It's got a great texture and really gives you a premium feel. As always the key is patience and prep work!

Great stuff i have done my truck and my girls truck ! Would buy again itโs not the cheapest the first one I did was on my truck with this product. The second one I bought was from another seller and I ended up sending that one back because the material was super wrinkled and not very good so I ordered this one again for my girls truck !

Really like the fit and pretty easy to work with for a beginner. I don't know about quality yet but I'm happy with the result in my Jetta. I will have to try to find it they have some non foam backed to try to match some of my trim since it's not quite a match to my interior which looks tan but it some weird grey(Carmakers have the most random colors).

Suede-style headliner fabric is a nice upgrade if you are redoing an old sagging headliner and want the interior to feel a little more custom than stock. The foam backing is important, and the black suede look generally gives the cabin a much richer, more finished appearance than plain OEM-style fabric. Good for anyone doing a headliner redo in a car, truck, SUV, or RV. Pros: โ Suede finish looks more premium โ Good for custom interior refresh work โ Foam backing makes it practical for headliner jobs โ Nice upgrade over standard-looking material Cons: โ ๏ธ Headliner work takes patience and good adhesive โ ๏ธ Final result depends heavily on prep and install quality Overall, a strong material choice for a headliner refresh.
