I give my recommendation for this product.
This item arrived at my address one full day before expected so 5 stars for service.I saved £10 + on the price so 5 stars.Fan noise is almost none existent so 5 stars.Very easy to install once you get your head round the instructions as they are pictorial with a few words and a bit vague so I can only give 4 stars, but a very good product as a package and I would recommend it to anyone.

Quite Pleased
After using for a while there seems to be a little noise after switching on in the beginning and sounds kinda of goes off after a minute.

Great silent Extractor fan
We have just refurbished our bathroom and we decided to go for this 'Xpelair C4TR 4-inch Simply Silent Contour Extractor Fan Timer Delay by Xpelair' It's definitely silent and we are very impress! Great product so if you are looking for a silent extractor fan this one is great.

This item was second hand
I have just opened the fan the box was clearly opened before and the fan was scratched at the sides like it had been opened before I haven’t fitted it yet but an afraid it won’t work

God quality extract fan
Well made and easy to install, I liked the clips that help grip the ducting where it enters the wall.No earth required but a permanent live needed for the timer circuit

It comes with a choice of front cover, round or square.
I used it to expel air, obvs?

Square version received instead of round
Bought this to replace our old extractor (same model) which stopped working after a few years. The delivered product was square not round for some reason. We prefer round so just kept the old cover on the new unit. Does the job, wouldn't go as far as saying it's silent, but it's also not too loud either
