I found this very straightforward and intuitive to use. The visual nature of the software means that you're never left without a prompt or a clear idea of what you need to do next. You're not blinded with science, but there's nothing patronising about the level of instruction it provides - if you're a bit perplexed by all things technical, it acts as a comforting helping hand guiding you from one point to the next.The results you get are remarkably professional looking, and polishing/editing is a breeze. I was looking for something that would help me craft a clean looking personal website, and I was spoilt for choice with the potential options here. Excellent value for money, it does exactly what it promises to do. And more! Highly recommended.

I bought this package based on the reviews here at Amazon. I have had it since May, I am unable to export the site. I contacted the Customer Service several times, they ended up ignoring my emails after two replied. I even tried to buy a domain/hosting package rom their recommended company, even though I had one already. I watched the tutorials so many times following each step but kept been denied access to export. I decided to join the forum, no one responded to my question. I have now given up, I wish I had renewed with Mr Site. The price I have paid for the package including buying hosting and domain names almost came to the renwal! I am going to 'tail between my legs' go back to Mr Site. I still don't know so many people here said it was easy to use this rubbish package. I regret wasting so much time and money on this trashy product! It belongs in one place - the bin

Installation was a breeze, but I have a major problem with the way the manufacturer has chosen to handle program registration. As part of the installation you have a choice of installing a trial version, which gives you minimum choices of images and no ability to finalize your creation for uploading.The other option requires you to register online, which wouldn't be so bad, but part of the registration requires you to sign up to their mailing list, and looking at the Terms and Conditions, giving the company the right to share your details with selected third parties, with no opt out choice, I for one was not willing to sign away my privacy quite that easily, I get more than enough spam already!I carried on with the trial version for testing purposes. The program gives you a wizard interface for inputting the main text details. After that the program seems to get quite complicated. There's no instruction manual and I didn't find the on-disc help file particularly helpful.I like to think I'm competent at website design, but I still found the myriad of options confusing and overly complicated, I certainly can't imagine a computer and website novice coping particularly well using this.Admittedly the graphics supplied in the package are high quality and professional looking, but the actual design choices are minimal and all the changes you can make are, for the most part, purely cosmetic.If you're a novice, I'd avoid this like the plague, if you're experienced you may like it as a time saving option to web design, but will probably dislike the design limitations.

I was looking for an easy way to design a website. But the end result did not look professional enough for my business. All the templates have the same layout with different colours or banners. As I know HTML coding, it does not give the option to modify the codings. Otherwise it gives the options to design from scratch and it has easy steps to follow.

Don't let this fool you about designing a website in 5 easy steps. If you have never had any kind of design or computer experience forget it! I have been trained in desk top publishing and graphics and have also designed my own websites via hosting sites in the past. I have now used this to design my very own website, BUT what a learning curve! If you aren't prepared to do some real learning and be patient then it's not for you. Don't get me wrong it's fabulous and I've got fantastic results but if it wasn't for a computer boffin I know helping me, I would have been stumped!

We are a small consulting business and needed to do our own corporate presence website. Dreamweaver is far too complicated, and the downloadable web-builder packages promoted on line are (in my view) abysmal. This software was perfect for the job, and I got a very professional-looking, six-page site up in half a day. The package works flawlessly, is intuitive, and you need no technical skill in web design. Uploading and updating is also quick and painless. The user forums and email support are also excellent and responsive. I would be recommending this if it cost £300, but at £30 (with no recurring costs) it is a steal! Highly recommended for anyone who wants to create an effective but straightforward web-site.

If you're looking for a web design package there are 100s out there that are either cheaper (free) or more professional (i.e. Dreamweaver or Microsoft's Expression).Although this comes bundled with a bunch of templates and a cute wizard, these are two thinks you can get without buying anything.If you want to create your own web site, there is unfortunately a learning curve. You have to understand the technology and how web sites work. You don't have to learn how to program, but you do need the basics of HTML, a good design software and a quick way to edit it manually.This package does what it ways on the box: it will create a rudimentary site for you, but you won't be able to modify the site to make it really yours and the package itself doesn't really lend itself to doing things manually, so for me it fails on all counts.It does get an extra star for the templates. There are, after all, quite a lot of them. As I said earlier, don't buy this for the templates though.
