I had bought size 11.50 of Vivobarefoot Primus before, as per Vivobarefoot’s guiding size on their website. And they were too big. So this time, I bought size 11 UK. Now I “managed to” put them on, they feel just right. These are obviously a good quality pair of shoes. Well-built. In fact, a bit too well-built. There’s a sock-like section around the neck (ankle), which, even though elastic, won’t expand much. It took me proper 10 minutes to put on these shoes. And I had to remove the socks. With socks, they won’t fit (because of the bottleneck). Imagine trying to put a size 11 feet through that tiny hole that won't expand much (shown in the image). Now I have them on; they kind of pressure the top of my feet. I love the design. I like the idea of having a pair of amphibious shoes as I live near the beach. But I might return this pair. I’ll take them for a walk, and if they hurt, I’ll return them.

These are not proper running shoes. The material is too thick and the shoe isn’t built for running. The shoe pushes down into the top of your foot. These are more like water shoes…. For hanging out at the beach and the walking on the reef/boat/etc. design and feel of these is no good for running, walking or anything. $200 fancy surfer shoes. You will get smoked trying to run in these. Look at the website, no reviews.Dont buy from these people. Legend footwear etc, if you wear the shoes then you cannot return them.How can i know if it’s good without wearing them?Go thru the company not 3rd party amazon sellers.

Need to offer more half sizes 9 too long and 8 to narrow for me. I stayed with the larger size and use the shoes for running through water. I really love them but ended up with deep wounds in the inner/medial part of both feet near the arch due to redundant material at the inner seam of both shoes. If it wasn’t for that I’d say they were the perfect shoe for my use.
